    yes, we are having a hell of a time trying to compete. Our products are a little more expensive than any of the competition. We test like mad and give our customers the tools needed to track and verify. Out products are beta tested at customer locations. We provide samples for bake offs. We help the customer integrate on Mechanical, Software and Hardware levels. We change our design if needed. Our company is not without problems but we are very tough on ourselves.

    Power supply makers always seem to derate their stuff. for instance, a 75 watt supply rated for use up to 60 Deg C may lose up to 40% of its output power from 50c to 60c. Thats 47 watts at 59c. Funny thing is, most manufactures will tell you this out right and provide the derating curve on their web site. others don't mention it.

    Correct, If you had Adobe 4.0 PDF reader and then switched to 5.* or 6.* you would be hating yourself because the new adobe tries to be everything and takes 15 seconds to load (vs. the old 2 seconds to load) Secondly, The 30 Billion dollar corp that I work for uses Win2k and Office 97 while we are nearing the end of 2004. We are all happy. Software is only outdated when it does not perform its function well. Oddly enough, you could hand someone a box of Unreal Tournament 2004 and tell them it is Linux software that also runs on windows. :) It's not FOSS and it's not marketed from that angle but who could argue. :)

    The only next improvement I can think of is if it did related searches to the term you searched for, but I'm not sure how you would represent all of that data at once. Leave it to the Google geniuses ;)

    No. I want it to show the results of my search term just as I turn to look at my PC. It's simple, Your USB powrered "thinking cap"(1) detects your uncertainty about a given topic and does the search as your walking over to your PC. I'm sure someone will get a patent for an obvious bullshit idea like this one.

    Hey, here is another idea: Tie google to the voice command "What the fuck *". Any time you say "What the Fuck is that?!?!", Google will pop up and respond "What the fuck is what?". It's kinda like Ask Jeeves. :)

    DVD is released.

    It will make even more money when they release "The Director's Cut" and the "Coupled With The Original Cut" and "Special Deleted Scenes Version"....aaaaaauuugggggg!!!! It's not going to stop until 'us' assholes stop buying this garbage. Give me ONE DVD and do it right the first time.
    I'm not sure why all this CRAP pisses me off but thanks for listening. :)

    Mod funny? WTF? Anyway, I bought UT2004 because it runs on linux (installs its own wine maybe?). The games server let me know when a new (windows) patch is ready. I usually have to check back in a week to find the linux patch. Do they even know how many linux customers they have? You would think that this would be priceless infomation for them.

    No, You are replacing your car because the passenger side door is missing, The sunroof has been stuck open ever since you bought the care for 4 times the blue book value and the transmission slips constantly. Your free replacement has the gas cap on the drivers side and needs the radio stations set to your favorites. (and the new radio is also commercial free!). oh, and your cruise control is on the steering wheel instead of the turn signal stick. Before you know it you'll be getting pulled over for speeding instead of honked at not getting out of the way. :)

    what's more interesting to me is the pink spot near the lower left that stays in a consistant spot in all 3 frames. (Look at the white building, the scan downwards. It's in the middle of the water.)

    Thats a dead pixel. My Olympus c2100uz has a few. It shows up in the same spot based on zoom level. ...or perhaps its a severed head.

    We are only annoyed by the ads that flash and jiggle while we are trying to read your news. It makes a guy dizzy. If your (and everyone elses) site looked like a static news paper we would not be motivated to do things like HOSTS files, PopUp blockers and disabling Flash.

    I intentionally turn flash off. In windows you can just rename flash.ocx to REMOVEflash.ocx

    switch the name back on those rare occasions when you need flash. (newgrounds.com)

    In Linux, I Never install flash.
