I'm on my Ibook 500mhz running Yellowdog 2.2 in Konquerer 3.0.0.... I didn't have any problems with doing a quick:
rpm -e `rpm -qa |egrep ^kde` --force --nodeps
and then from the kde3 download dir:
rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps *rpm
... to the core.. But my Ibook just got here and it didn't even boot up MacOS before I had installed YellowDog.. It is definitely a beautiful machine in form factor, configurability and all around mojo
The zone for me is always achieved when the pressure is at it's highest, the cigarettes taste the sweetest, and there nothing in the world that can interrupt me. I'm not sure this is something that can be sought but rather just happens when most needed.
We have an M$DN subscription where I work, and I think I might enjoy finding out at what RPM's the various M$ cd's explode... It would be quite the entertainment as there are about 50 to 60 cd's
...to slow down my ibook even more... Pagers in Yellow Dog slow down my ibook enough, I can't even imagine what it would do in OS/X, which is slow enough on my 64 meg of ram
My favorite game to play at work is always PS-Xdoom. If my boss happens to walk around the corner, all I need to do it shoot a RPG into the group of process monsters, and wh00p, my X session gets killed, and I'm at a terminal looking like I was actually doing something
The thing that people like these need to realize, is that people in this world will find a way. If the copy protection is software based, someone will crack it. If it is a hardware based, there will be some kinda of mod chip for your cd drive being sold on Lik Sang

Starts right up without an issue
I believe {perhaps erroneously] that it does support all PowerPC architecture, including IBM's... I think that YellowDog 2.2 does...
Suse has always been a great distro, if not a bit bloated at times {though anymore they all are}

Goto.com became overture
I guess this is what happens when you don't actually own the software on your computer
