    Also many of the surounding suburbs (Montgomery County, Fairfax County) have some of the higest costs of living in the country. (Montgomery county is in the top 10.)

    Too bad linux dosnt run on 286 chips, since they aren't 32bit. As far as pure programming is concerned, not taking into account the extensions like mmx, sse 3dnow ect, one 32bit processor is the same as another. That means they (386sx,386,486,pentium,k6,pentium pro, pentiumii,iii,k6-2,k6-3,athlon,duron,celeron,p4) are all the same to program for. Ever done 32 bit assembly? I have.

    You can always use the same Windows CD key on multiple computers. Its the number of LICENCES that count buddy. Most businesses that use Windows have the same Windows CD key on every computer.

    I like writing DLLS in assembly and using them From VB. It makes for a good time debugging.
