There is a good list of anime with ratings here. Check it out. The one I agree with on being in the 95-99% category is FLCL (aka Furi Kuri). Berserk and Cowboy Bebop are also decent. Can't say any of these are like Kubrick or Wenders films, but IIRC there is an episode of the GitS series that references a Truffaut film.

Augghh! Two pieces of quark matter passed through my screen right after "Check it out", obliterating two pixels in a eerie colon-like formation. Confound you, Slashdot!
The latter gives a measurement of 538ms response time for 600 users on the Petshop. Since the Middleware Company PDF lists response time as 14ms for "J2EE AppServer A" and 10ms for.Net, at 750 users, there's obviously some difference in benchmarking practices. If anyone has a link to the "10 times faster" propaganda, please post.
People keep mentioning php.net. I have to put my vote in for phpclasses.org. No friendly tutorials here, just the code you need. Functionality ranges from basic stuff like turning recordsets into an HTML table, to more advanced things like data caching.
Most songs are a few megabytes at most, making them incredibly easy to download and share. The "creative solutions" proposed for software probably won't translate well into music piracy...
Au contraire. If the music industry could decide on a 5-channel 24+ bit/96+ kHz surround sound standard, some people would opt to buy the "super cd" or "audio dvd" instead of the only-stereo lossily-compressed mp3 version. Thus, they could learn from software companies that small files are easy to warez, hard to sell... large files are where they should put their efforts.
How about a 4U server. 4U = more slots and bays, at least that's important to me. I went with something very similar to this 4U 8-bay case. Heavy as hell, and more than standard rack depth, but spacious and very very sturdy. A search on Ebay for "ATX chassis" will bring up lots of rackmount cases for sale...
It looks like their software does not require their hardware. You can create virtual drives on your RAM, without needing the Rocket Drive hardware.

A bunch of C and Perl. To lessen the Slashdot effect please share on Kazaa or your P2P network of choice.
I think they call those 'laptops.'
I think they used to call those 'Atari.'

To avoid the annoying "registration required", replace "www." with "archive." in the URL.
