    Since you were looking at PDFs embedded in the browser, you can't really blame this one on FF. Acrobat or whatever you're using for PDFs will be embedded in FF's memory space.

    They never add the RC designation to the about box. The user agent, the about box, they all say 3.0 already. No "RC" in there. That's the whole point.. if there aren't any bugs, they just change the name of the file.. they don't recompile it.

    It's super easy to find software that doesn't support 10.4. Delicious Library 2 requires Leopard, and you can't get the older versions anymore.

    Even Apple does it. The iPhone SDK requires 10.5.

    Driving a bike on the road is perfectly legal.


    To an extent. You must be "as far to the right of the road as practical and safe". We see bicyclists weaving throughout traffic.. seems retarded and dangerous to me (and it's illegal).

    I'm 6'3", I drive a 97 Nissan Sentra.. I have at least 2" of headroom above me.

    My wife's Dodge Caliber (one of those half-car thingies) has far more leg room in both front and back than her Nissan Pathfinder.

    True, the crash stats even show that you're more likely to be in an accident in an SUV. You just can't avoid crashes easily.

    good luck finding a modern car with a stick-shift unless it's a sports car or you custom order it.


    The Mazda 3 comes with a 6-speed manual. I wouldn't call it a sports car.

    No, Verizon refused to give Apple a cut of the monthly subscriptions.

    Now AT&T has done the same thing.. Apple no longer gets a cut of the monthly subscriptions. Apple's problem with Verizon no longer exists, but they're in a 5 year contract with AT&T now.

    Apple was concentrating on getting a cheaper 3G iPhone into the hands of as many consumers as possible


    If that were true, Apple'd make a CDMA version. There are more people with CDMA cellphones in the US than GSM.
