Or what if you were to make a very popular television show that portrayed the Democratic party as the answer to the worlds problems and all Repulicans as crazied lunatics.

Oh your right. I just went outside and noticed that my new V6 Mustang really has a V8 and 2 of the cylinders are shut off. Now all I need is to just to overclock it to a V8 and I'm all set.

Ditto, When I got started as a Network Admin I had zero certs but 3 years co-op experience. I replaced a paper CNE who had the certs but couldn't create a user account. After, 10 years and 6 upward moves I still have no certs. Granted my last move was 2 years ago and I don't live on the West Coast.

You are aware of course that in a capitalist society the market drives the price of a product. Couldn't one say that the rampant downloading and sharing is a direct result of the *product* being priced out of the market.

  7. Re:Well, not exactly on Playstation 2 Outsells both Xbox and Gamecube · · Score: 1

Actually were I live Xbox and Gamecube, while not piled in the isles like the PS2's are quite available.

I do think there is a little bit of I can't buy one so I'll buy another brand going on. However, last time I checked ebay gamecubes and Xbox weren't selling for $1000US like the PS2's were when they were new. In fact it appears that alot of gamecube auctions aren't meeting the reserve price. (There are several ending in the next 1/2 hour that are bid below retail and several that have not yet met reserve.)

The issue isn't that these aren't good consoles. I think the real issue which was a clincher for me when I bought my PS2 was software selection. The Xbox and gamecube just don't have the selection.
