    That is a way smarter way to create PDFs than this stupid plug-in. In fact, many PDF programs will create a virtual printer that will accept anything sent to it and turn it into a PDF.

    Maybe they should throw actual pineapples instead of grenades. That would be biodegradable.

  7. When the compressor in the fridge starts up, it causes enough RF interference to knock everything off the wifi. Conversely, the microwaves that cook my food are now modulated.

  8. If you're going to go as far as to disassemble your refrigerator just so you can swap the wifi board with one from another appliance, then just cut the antenna wire and be done with it.

    Macho or not, I think that would be the coolest and most effective way to do it.

    But that's not nearly poetic enough. Maybe "Crushed by falling wifi refrigerators" or "Death due to cancer caused by exposure to excessive WiFi".

    We could only hope. There is still very little Android Auto integration in new vehicles. It's been what, 10 years now?

  13. Suppose the auto industry kept changing the user interface for cars? Sure, the early ones has pedals and a steering wheel, but then they switch to a series of levers, and then a joystick, and then two ropes and a broom handle. It's not "INNOVATING", it's screwing up standardized control interfaces!

    But what would you call it if your mom asked you to provide her with a daily report of those metrics? It's not really spying if it isn't covert, and you don't have to give her the metrics. Maybe "excessive oversight"....

    Probably because Microsoft themselves said that they would replace CMD with powershell in newer Windows 10 builds.

    It shouldn't have *ANY* bugs. But adobe also thought that it should be able to execute scripts from web based sources. That's the kicker.

  20. I have an LG smartphone, and I can tell you that the procedure for getting into the recovery is not as simple as other brands of phones (e.g., HTC). Usually, you would just hold down a button while the device powers on and boots up. With the LG device, you have to hold the button down until it STARTS to boot, then release the button, and then press it again. The timing is critical, and it doesn't often work the first time.

    With the television, you have even more buttons to worry about, so trial and error would take a very long time.

    If you're looking for fraud, Florida is a good place to start. They have the highest rate of Medical Fraud, and I wouldn't be surprised if that has flowed over to other industries.

    I read the novel in grade school as an assignment, then the whole class got to watch the movie as well. There is no better way to traumatize kids than the mass-death scene in the warren. I won't forget that ever.
