    China has 800,000+ internet police, if they op for net neutrality (meaning all contents available for the rest of the world should be available in china) then 800k people will loose their jobs.     The fact is people are lazy, if they can't get to it on first attempt, they might just stop. The goal is not to stop all the internet users, but if it blocks a few, they have reached their goals. Same deal as iPhone firmware updates, ps2 revision updates, wii updates, psp firmware updates, they know there are still hackers, but the goal is make their life hard.

    You reminded me of the designated protest zone setup 19km away from the olympic stadium during the olympic games. Those zones were more like a mouse trap where protesters were mostly taken to the police station. Pretty much the only thing you can protest there was to protest against the foreigners.

    The Great Leap Forward has starved 35 to 40million chinese to death in 3-4 years. This is greater than the sum of deaths due to natural disaster in recent 2000 years of Chinese history.

    That's not valid because the web based email could be limited to the intranet. Exchange server allows users to access their email through webmail and companies expose that access to their employees when they are logged on through VPN.

    Part of the reason for storage on the web is not because of a lack in harddrive space. Most people use multiple computers nowadays and web apps is very convinient for synchronizing your work among multiple computers.

    This is because none of the studio would do it. Toshiba has no control over this and the studio wants to earn money like they did with DVD. Why would any studios want to give something out for free?

    Really? I thought not many are into Ratatouille. My 3.5 years old son asked me to stop playing the movie when he saw the thousand mice scene. I also looked into the retail franchise, there are way more cars product and absolutely none ratatouille products. I get what you mean, but your example wasn't that great.

    Exactly, I plugged my OTA antenna and I got about 15 digital channels. Only 2 or 3 are in HD. Please don't confuse digital with HD.

    Pirate copies usually get you to new and recent releases. When you suddenly think of something less popular that you would like to get, in most case, you won't be able to find it.

    All movies are in 1080p 24fps. You have a point though since 1080i is in 1080 interlaced 60fps. If 3:2 pull down is done correctly, 1080i should be able to see as good image as 1080p/24. The problem is not many chip does 3:2 pull down perfectly, and a lot of 1080p LCD cheated with a cheap deinteracing processor that does not perform 1080i to 1080p dot for dot. Thus you loose some of the original signal.

    To contrast your existence, I, on the other hand, am planning to buy a 52" lcd with 1080p. I also wonder if you really watch any TV, if you do, how can you stand your 25" tiny box and be so proud about it?

    If only you want all of the supported items. It's like persuading for $100 all you can dial long distance, but I only make $10 worth of long distance call a month $500 a ps3 can kind of break up into HD-dvd player = $250 for a cheap Toshiba A1 + Wii $250 (which can browse for internet too, but who really want to do it anyway) However if u want gaming + HD, ps3 might not be a bad choice but since it has been loosing ground, it's game collection might not be as impressive as last round on ps2.

    Another value is live preview. Some dslr like Canon comes with remote trigger which means you can trigger your shot with your computer and review it right away. My stupid sony dslr won't do that and it makes it extremely hard to do product shot: do { 1. Put memory card in 2. take a shot 3. pull card out 4. Stick it to memory card reader 5. review on computer } while (shot is no good); If there is a wifi card, I am sure I can somehow preview it faster.

    It's for xbox 1 and it can be softmodded with a "splinter cell" Live will bang your machine, but I got my used xbox off ebay for $80 and have straightly use it for xbmc.

    When you say dev environment is better, do you mean VS.net is better than Eclipse? Eclipse has come to a point that it is way better than many development IDE.
