Just remember, if this is what we have to complain about, are we doing so poorly? There are people around the world with no house at this very moment, due to lack of sufficient infrastructure, and our complaint is "my intertubes is too slows!"...
There's nothing wrong with being thankful for what you have while working towards something better.
It sounds more like someone's definition of 'metaphor' needs a little work. I'd say you aren't seeing the forest for the trees, but I don't want to get into a debate about what kind of trees they are.
It's nice to see that, instead of logic, we're basing our laws on sports metaphors. This jibes nicely with the level of intellect I assume lawmakers possess.
You are right. Whether they realize it or not, the "progressives" in the US tend more towards fascism than socialism
I'd hardly call our current crop of Dems "progressive" by any means, and it seems to me that both the Democrats and Republicans are getting a little too friendly with fascism these days. Both the right and the left are getting fed up with their parties.
The obvious solution is proportional representation, but we're too lazy to implement it. We've got the politicians we deserve.
Oh, I'm afraid you've committed the ultimate sin of political correctness--you've DARED imply that one country/religion/belief-system is even the slightest bit superior to another!
Yeah, that's the problem with post-modernism. It's hard for some people to understand. Then again not everyone lets the TV do the thinking for them.
He illegaly gained access to servers in the US, so he commited the crime in the US and should be prosecuted there.
That's an interesting situation. Did he go to the servers or did the servers come to him? Saying that he committed his crime in the US is bordering on wishful thinking for the prosecutors, but given the current fascist climate in America I'm sure it would work.
I wonder how much money we've wasted on this bullshit over the last seven years. Is it vitally important that we hurt this man? If so, can we just have someone kick him in the nuts?

Since Apple has an apparently arduous approval process for their app store, I'm assuming that they guarantee everything against this sort of foolishness.
I didn't bother to read the 92 page EULA that went along with it, but they're an honorable company, right?
The bezel gap makes me think this would be better suited for one main monitor and one monitor for menus/inventory/what-have-you, but I can't think of any games that would support something like that.
Having a dedicated map monitor would be amazing for so many games.
Actually it's probably more a question of will. Smaller government and better education starts locally, and we've seen that it's one thing to talk about doing something and another to reject federal money or vote for school levies.
Of course, this is the same country that both claims to be a Christian nation and still has a death penalty. Logic is not our strong suit when it comes to governance.
No man, I hate Iceland, Icelanders, and everything they stand for. Their scratchy-sweater-wearing, Cod-fishing, Bjerk-listening way of life repulses me. Iceland is a huge natural disaster.
The Right pays lip service to "smaller government" just like the Left pays lip service to "better education". Great way to whip up the base in an election year, but the problem itself is simply too complex for our current crop of officials.
You might look into becoming a client or partner with a smaller payroll company. They've got access to everything you need and will already be experts in dealing with the major banks' individual quirks.

It's those who can no longer afford to eat or heat their homes etc. and can't get credit that will suffer.
If your country's citizens need to borrow money to meet basic human needs, you have bigger problems than a carbon tax.
And since our country is taxing it's citizens at the lowest rate in more than half a century, I'd say that you need to look elsewhere for your outrage.

Ob. Shockwave Rider
Well in all fairness if the token happens to fall out you can spend hours looking for it.
Billable hours.
Your tears are like milk.
Why are we so determined as a nation to magnify and extend the current economic crisis to match the Carter years?
Some of us prize health over a new tv?
And Moms and Dads with small children have more money to spend on ads and media than teens and 20-something hipsters.
No they don't. Where would you get an idea like that?

I see those as marks of pride and accomplishment.
Enjoy the extra ten years you've added to your life.

IANAL, and I don't get why a regional court gets to decide national matters. Is this working as intended?

Does anyone remember why the Republicans were so rabidly anti-ACLU back in the Bush Sr. days? Was it strictly a Dukakis bashing thing?
That's not violence, that's percussive maintenance. A bit of a 'black box' as far as repairs go, but it works occasionally.
Reality has a well-known liberal bias.

You're just as bad as pirates who expect games to be completely free.
I think you'll find that their expectations are generally met.
Come now, evil is simply a regrettable but unavoidable byproduct of business. Not unlike oil-soaked otters.
