Realistically I'd like to see a standard that jumps across magnitudes of frequency as access points get farther away. Speed will drop but range will increase. All the way down to 14.4 kb/s and a hundred KM:D
Power reflection is not a quacky theory. It is part of every AC power distribution system.
If you read any technical information about the big blackout of 2003, you would have read that reflected power caused by switches cutting out overloaded some generators and caused them to shut down.
You will also read specifically that Quebec's power distribution system did not have any problems dealing with the load drop-off because their interconnects with the rest of north america are DC links.
DC is much more efficient than AC at extremely high voltages. There is a reason the modern power distribution system in quebec operates on DC for long-haul runs. It also makes them immune to the power reflection problem that knocked out our power in Ontario and some States a couple of summers ago.
It's not used anymore because the poor old birds don't run long enough to make it to the landing site, if they even get airborne in the first place...:D
The Prius uses continuously meshed planetary gear train, with ICE and electric motors driving different sections of it.
In actual fact the transmission doesn't vary gear ratio at all, the electric motor is used to modulate the system, adding, neutralizing, or absorbing power to/from the wheels, in concert with the ICE motor.
I disagree. The biggest problem with spyware is how it trashes people's machines. Whether a program sends "personal" (debatable whether the data is usually personalized) information over the Net beyond its stated intention is secondary to a machine that has been rendered unuseable.
Users only care about what they experience, and that happens to be computers that don't function. I don't spend hours slaving away trying to prevent personal information from being sent over the Net, I spend hours slaving away to rid friends' computers of "spyware" viruses that conveniently install themselves and break the operating system.
That's because it's not a tax, it's a tariff:D
Seriously though, it goes to a private organization, not the government. It's more like a royalty really.
I am reading lots of comments about people "camping" more in a game like this. On a serious note, doesn't being a real soldier in combat involve a lot of "camping"? You might spent a day or even months in one spot defending one position.
You do realize that Hasbro by law has to file the suit. If they fail to defend their tradmark within reasonable time, they lose the exclusive right to use it.
It's not like that at all in Canada. If you can afford better healthcare you can go to another country and get it done.
$8000 all-inclusive trip to Chile for back surgery for example. Including cost of taking and lodging a spouse. Back to Canada in 3 days.
Lots of people with money go to Buffalo NY from Ontario for surgery as well. It's not illegal at all.
I know how the density of things change at certain temperatures but I'm going to talk a bout a liquid here, which doesnt change density much.
In high school they taught us that 1 L of water is 0.1x0.1x0.1 m and weighs 1 Kg.
That's pretty simple, and it fits with the other dimensions well.
What I am saying is that all of these steps have been taken and yet some people can screw it up by just using it, yet I can do exactly what they do, or even run without NAT, with OE and IE, and installing over a hundred programs from kazaa and other untrustable sources, and still have my clean machine while the more secure one dies from use by certain users.
:D Shall i rephrase to "try to mess it up by using all normal stupid user methods"
Stupid users wouldn't know how to get their IP address, so I figure I'm safe from nitpickers now.:)
The thing is, I run XP Pro and my machine has remained stable for a couple years. Whenever my friends complain about a specific website or program screwing up their computer I make a point of visiting the page or running the program on MY machine and guess what...nothing gets installed by a backdoor, nothing breaks the system.
It completely boggles my mind. For one thing, I have a friend whose machine is always patched, firewalled, and anti-spywared, and a week or so after every format and reinstall, the machine is filling 4 GB of virtual memory, there are unremovable toolbars in IE, even FIREFOX has its homepage hijacked, and it blue screens of death regularly. Second, I have over a few years run 98, 2000, and XP, and my machine was rock solid with all three OSes. For years I ran without antivirus software and when I finally clued in and installed some, scans found nothing already in place. I'm not the only one using my machine either, my mother and sister and visitors use it without my supervision and nothing ever gets wrecked. My friend's mother sits in front of his computer for an hour and the whole thing is messed up. I can truthfully say I can do exactly what she does on my machine and nothing bad happens.
So what I am saying in my rant is...(not too sure). Basically, a lot of people must be cursed with a human virus that is caught by computers, because I even if I TRY to mess up my machine it won't.
In all seriousness, how long till someone cranks the boost up to 50 million bar and leaves those 500 hp monsters in the dust?
Like ATP Turbo making 426 whp / 430 lb-ft Audi A4 1.8T.:D 11.97 second 1/4 mile.
"All engine components including engine block, cylinder head, cams, etc. remain stock. Only reprogramming of the stock ECU along with larger injectors were required to accomodate the additional horsepower."
The smart sold in canada is an 800cc turbo diesel. I'm calling 110 hp / 150 lb-ft...in a rear-engined car with a maximum loaded weight of 990 kg
Frankly, yes :D

I think I would rather consult the bills of me and my acquaintances than google in this case.
I dunno about you, but here in urban Ontario electricity is the most expensive bill lots of us have.
But in notepad you CAN "goto" so if you get an error with a line number, you can get to it easily.

For the record, pitbulls and "similar breeds" are banned in the entire province of Ontario as of last month.

No, the Accord motor is 3.0L, the Odyssey and Pilot motors are 3.5L.
You weren't in a 100 degree celsius sauna, no way. Water boils at 100. People'd be having you for supper, well cooked.

That's funny, but honestly I'm not making that claim. Whatever could screw up a computer has been tested.

That would be the A-class

The smart fourtwo coupé and cabriolet have been for sale in Canada since early this summer. They are offered with turbodiesel powerplants only.
