  1. Creepy Faceboot is creepy.

That much _everyone_ knows by now. Including those people who for social or business purposes continue to use Faceboot.

It's time for Congress to ban cyberstalking as a business model. One way to do that would be too impose very high (instant bankruptcy high) mandatory fines for data spillage. And require that data hoarders be _fully insured_ against the maximum fine. Let the insurance companies take care of the rest.

I'm all about _people_ having the freedom to use software however they see fit. But I couldn't give a flying fuck if corporations have "freedom" to do anything at all.

Because Freedom is for human beings. Corporations are "legal entities", more or less malevolent machines, little petty gods we've built and raised up over ourselves.

I want to release software under a license that grants the Four Freedoms to human beings. And grants jack shit to corporations. No license I'm aware of does this. But maybe it could be hacked into existing licenses with just a few edits. Any thoughts on the wording?

PS: There's probably some numbnuts out there thinking, "Hey doood, a corporation is just a group of people. Corporations have rights too!!1!" Sorry bro, it's Current Year, and no one believes that obvious lie anymore.

That's right, trees with delicious burritos growing on them. And the gub'mint doesn't want you to know about it! Artificial burrito scarcity! It's a conspiracy!!!

Okay, Progressive muh-science bros, wig out!! Decry the ignorance of your fellow men, lament the decline of Western Civilization, and call loudly for yet more censorship! Everyone knows commoners are far too stupid to think for themselves.

We can't allow these burrito tree extremists to spread their seductive lies. It's totally NOT true that chicken burritos and beef burritos grow on the same tree. Fight the lies! If it requires the boot of Big Brother stomping on human freedom, so be it. We must at any cost save our society from this pernicious burrito-based ruse!!

In the past, yes. But not so much anymore.

I know a lot of people who 10 years ago would have described themselves as "middle class", but today describe themselves as "working class" or "lower middle class". Not because they dropped a level, but rather because they have new awareness & understanding of where they have always been.

I'd say this change in class awareness is a trailing indicator of the ongoing economic collapse. But on a more optimistic note, it may also be a leading indicator of a new populist politics.
