This is exactly right.
The best bet for police is to hope they find more at his house (or get him to admit to it immediately without a lawyer). Finding it at a techie store means 20 people could have put it there (assuming they plugged it into the network). I wonder if he did burn it in, that could be distribution (hah!).
I would think Circuit City, as a business, would want to keep their nose out of these kinds of things. They will probably implement a policy saying to use their own data to test with via USB drive if they are smart.
I love how we hack and hack and add new javascript APIs, try to get browsers to support new things that force users to upgrade to use, all to get a feature we had available in a desktop app 10 years ago (see AJAX or... Multithreading or... damn, a simple table where you can modify data like excel). Then, when it has a problem, it's even harder to debug than that same old desktop feature.
I love sessions and requests too, they are a dream to deal with.
A combination of those is superior, like Java webstart (full blown local app that automatically updates itself from the web) or what MS named their version they added 5 years later in.NET.
3 There is one level entitled "Death from above" where you are a gunner on an AC-130. The level was very easy - but the dialog from the "crew" of the Spectre was really cool. When you scan over an area where there are bad guys the spotter will say "Get those guys" or "Yeah take them out". In some cases it's difficult to see because of cover and things - so the added verbal confirmation that you are about to kill the right guys was really impressive.
I must say that this was completely cool. By far my most favorite level, and by far awesomeeeeeeee... I had forgotten about it, and it looks extremely realistic.
There are still some bugs to work out though. I like the choice of guns and the fast leveling up (to get more guns).
The perks you can give your character (2 of them) are cool, so people can assign them to their own strengths as a player.
I do notice some people who seem to be able to see through smoke / through walls (google it). Admins can catch it, but it's so early I don't think many know what to look for. The kill cam helps anti-sniping if it's enabled on the server you play on.
It's a 4 year old SOP document from just after the prison was created.
The main thing it can be used is infiltration. The secondary thing it can be used for is preparing actual bad guys with what we do. I do agree that congress or others should be able to review prison treatment (and this old document) as they have, but as far as my right to know what it contains as an American citizen... I don't have it. I have to put the trust in my congressmen and women. A local prison is a different story.
I'd trade knowing the enemy's sub speeds for him knowing my carrier speeds any day. Carriers travel in groups that can only go as fast as the slowest ship, subs, not so much.
The diesel electric sub they described reminds me of our WW2 subs for some reason.
Well, American was picked long before my time. By the Spanish actually, wait, I mean, Europeans.:P
Actually, I don't see the similarities you do. The similarity here would be that we have North Americans (Panama and up) and South Americans (Colombia and down), they are called as such. Especially in non English languages.
If someone asks me where I'm from when I am outside of my country, I say the US (or "The States", if I am in a country I know calls it that). If I asked someone here where they are from, and they said Europe, to be honest, I would giggle.
I don't see the EU and her member countries as the same thing as the US and her states, but I'm open.
This is all going to revert back to why the EU just doesn't have one World Cup Soccer team I think.
"Other MMOs have failed miserably and have added something called "instancing" where they even instance peaceful zones."
You said:
"The benefit if instances is that different groups can be going after the same objective at the same time. It eliminates camping for high level gear."
I'm guessing that's a non peaceful zone? Where you're trying to kill something?
Don't take my word for it, sniff the packets, you'll see a distinct difference between MMOs that support 300 people and first person shooters. FPS's send more detailed information (read : more).
1) Your character is not gimped. You don't get certain online only options like shared stashes, guild creation, or the same number of character slots.
To play the game to the fullest you have to pay, it's as simple as that.
2) Not subscribing does absolutely nothing to the single player. A single player game that is good enough on its own to justify the cost of the box. In addition you get free online play even if you never play another dime. I seriously think that if they offered NO free online play, instead saying you can play single player on your own or pay a subscription for online, that there would be less people pissed off.
I agree with your point that single player = $50, and we're good to go. Compared to previous game types like diablo etc, people expect free online play for something that has single player. Many games offer it with no strings attached.
3) The subscription replaces having to buy expansions every six months or a year. Look at WoW. $15 a month, plus $50 a year for an expansion, plus no single player. And you don't hear anyone bitching about that. This does not equate. Blizzard is so slow with WoW they release an expansion every 2 years or so, they also tend to have the release dates pushed. They are also only 30 bucks. The fee for online MMOs (which started with Ultima Online) gets you in game support (game master available), bannage of exploiters, bug fixes, tweaks to pvp and classes, and free expansions. (all MMOs have added content for free) I don't see single player being any fun for a real MMO.
Another key thing MMO's have is server side characters that are the company's responsibility.
4) You clearly haven't seen the ads. They are far from invasive. You can play through and never even notice that the ads on the subway walls are for real products. They aren't bright neon signs that scream "BUY COKE, MMM COKE." They're dirty worn down subway ads you'd expect to see in a subway. Only they're for actual products. I don't like the precedence either, but it's definitely not a gamebreaker.
I don't see a problem with the ads either as long as they aren't intrusive.
BF2142 (which offers free online play at zero cost) has ads, I didn't see them and I played it for a long while (well past brig gen), mostly on Camp Gibraltar. Then one day a big ass logo appeared on a wall that normally didn't have logos on it. It was a near a choke point. I stared at it for a second (wondering wtf) as someone shot me from another direction. See my brain processes everything, and it knows there was supposed to be an alternating color wall there and it knows that (lol it controls me) any difference in color means there's a person there to headshot, but it didn't see the person, it saw a big damn banner.
That was only there for one game, so I never had that problem again.
I wouldn't think you could could use the figure to measure how well someone could sell their product in just the "EU" as a whole, since each country still has it's own sovereignty, and can completely ban a product if they feel the need (see violent video games in German, or Nazi flags in France).
Each local region can also have it's own laws depending on the country, but this is the same for all countries.
The EU could finalize the step if it could just decide it wanted to be a country, but then you only get one soccer team in the world cup!
This is exactly right. The best bet for police is to hope they find more at his house (or get him to admit to it immediately without a lawyer). way, still.

If you don't get my point, it's ok.
You could use it to redirect a shaped charge more efficiently too, making a more powerful explosive.
this, and batteries.
If you can think of it as an average Slashdot 10 year old, you can't patent it. Problem solved.
There's 8 other memos that say the same thing over the last few years.
There's 8 more that say the same thing about other people.
At least you have a solution, to improve airline security.
Of course they are, and HTML supports them. Downhill.
This is right on topic.
it started going downhill when they added POST and GET (yes, that long ago).
"Something else" should have been done for dynamic content.
Now we have all these huge workarounds to make a website like an application.

o Open with X
o Save to Disk
That should fix her up!
Yes, I should clarify, two perks are "character based" one is extra equipment.

It reminds me of how these were true in 1944.

Google will probably let me do what I want with it and not try to brick it. I bet I have access to it's memory intentionally!

For an 80gig drive in my head. Assuming it has overload protection and I can double it later.
Lord Ender++
I thought the same thing.
See the folks at 2600 and their court case. Ford realized they would lose.

EUian?
That surely wasn't mean.

The 27 countries in the EU do total out to just edge out the US alone. Add Canada to the US and their GDP passes those 27 countries.
