    And I will claim that longhorn is better than MSDOS6.0. Can you beat me? BTW, I bet there will be a computer cluster running longhorn and AMD/intel 64bit CPU quicker and cheaper than the VT G5 cluster. I predict Longhorn will give /.er more entertainment than SCO stuff.

    Displaying of CJK characters has been solved when there was only less than 1M RAM on every computer. And this one use pen input method to input Chinese character.

    I only use NS on mac. Because it could display Chinese, my native language, properly. IE on mac even could not display Chinese character on hotmail, It is frustrating experience to open a email from my friends. But NS6 works fine. that's it.

    Firstly, does IBM need manage several factories to manufacure HARD disks? I do not think so. look around, is there any hard disk without IBM product? Almost no. And is any body know the next generation memory material? I think it is ferroelectrics thin film. Recently I saw some sample in one lab, on 1 sqare micrometer, that kind of film could store 1bit. This ability is fantastic, and it could be retrieved in 1 microsecond. Much better than magnetic disk.

    I am a overseas student in US from China now. And I experienced the censorship of China the days in my country. And I can not log on www.washingtonpost.com etc. from Beijing. I really do not think this is a good thing. however, what we have to know is that China is changing. And it is better, more open, more dermostic every day.

    well. I was a programmer in China, and at that time, at least in one year, the sales in the company i was working for exceeded MS in retale market. And one more thing is that at the same time we sell one copy of our products, there are at least 10 copies of pirated sold. How could the company keep alive? There are two key points, the first is to sell your products. If you sell more products, you could survive. The second one is the salary of the developer. My salary as a programmer is about $400 per month.
