Wow, this morning CDT the pro-Trump moderation was pretty positive. Then at some point the anti-Trump moderators swept through. Maybe during lunch time in California? I'd love to see a +/- moderation graph over time.
That's cool and all but when they predict we'll all be doomed by year XXXX unless something is done, and that date comes and goes and nothing happened, rinse-lather-repeat, then most of us non-NPCs begin to wonder about the use of their "solid metrics".
But let's say that climate change is indeed a hoax.
Why? It's not a hoax. It is happening and it's natural. The level of AGW is the issue and whether or not we need to tax gas at $200+/gallon (per the IPCC).
God clearly doesn't want us to burn oil, or he wouldn't have buried it almost entirely under assholes and terrorists.
Nice condescending statement that indicates what an asshole you are.
Sounds like another of those bullshit evaluations in which you can make the order come out how you like depending what weight you attach to the measured parameters - even assuming they are measured correctly (or guessed) in the first place. For example, FTFA:
This year the WEF changed its methodology to better account for... [blah blah, blah.....]
And do you ever feel that way about climate change studies?
Yet. The U.S. is not yet a theocracy. However, based on their actions, Republicans, and their Evangelical Judases, are working very had to change that.
Your religious beliefs (whether you have them or not) are protected in the First Amendment. The only group I see trying to remove those protections are on the progressive left.
It could not possibly be that drastic change is needed. It MUST be a conspiracy if it inconveniences me!
Over time, we will move on to use other sources of energy. It will obviously not be fast enough for you. In the mean time, all the scare mongering and failed predictions by AlGore et al. are not helping your cause.
Your average minimum wage Joe cannot afford any of the new high-tech cars. Now what's the solution for them?
To be on the receiving end of some sort of eugenics program. Lightly snuffed while being carbon neutral at the same time. I think the engineering details will be on the agenda of IPCC's next gala.
When they all flew to South Korea for their conference..
Insightful, really? "These" people come from around the world, they have to meet ; would it be in SK or in the US, that'd be the same. They don't travel for leisure, they meet to talk important matters.
Yes it's all very important for them to meet in person, stay in nice hotels, go to luncheons, hobnob with their colleagues, have a great time. Teleconferencing the whole shindig, while difficult, would be a big statement. They want the rest of us to sacrifice, so how about they set an example.
I was on Kavanaugh's side right up until last week. But his actions at the senate inquiry are completely unbecoming of a judge, any judge, not even a supreme court judge, and that's all before you consider that given his responses he looks shady and guilty as heck.
Oh God how I wish I could give a captive group of senators a piece of my mind with no interruptions. Kavanaugh got lucky in an unlucky way. And if you watch the video closely, you can see the force field he deployed that blocked the evil-eye death ray from Alyssa Milano. I'm Kavan-awed.
It can't be good with all the drama going on to stir the pot intentionally or not at Facebook. Kavanaugh is a high drama figure and associating yourself with him is going to cause grief one way or another for your business. Especially when Kavanaugh has an air of sexual accusations against him mixed with his behavior during the interview process where he lost his cool pretty dramatically making things look even worse for him then if he would have maintained a cool head.
The facebook executive and Kavanaugh have been friends for 20 years. So what if you want to lend your friend some support on your own time. And it's not like Kavanaugh is evil incarnate. The political climate has gone batshit insane.
Maybe this explains why Verizon constantly is raising prices for worse service? Gotta pay the managers somehow?
That's not been my experience over the last several years for cell phone service. It has gotten better and has gone down in price.
Guess further explanation is required since I've been moderated as Troll. My two phones are used to make calls and texts mostly. Data use is occasionally on Verizon's network but occurs mostly on WiFi. I rarely have voice or connectivity issues on Verizon's network. And my price for the same level of service has gone down over the past few years. Verizon just didn't lower the price automatically. I had to discover on my own that there was an alternative plan that carried a lower price. So there it is. At least one person is satisfied.
Problem is that is a massive disincentive to make your job more efficient. If the result of automating your job is to be punished with redundancy, you are better off not automating.
Just don't tell anyone you automated something. While the automation does its thing, you go off and work on something interesting to you, something you anticipate that will be needed at some point. When it is needed, you're the hero.
The Constitution enumerates the powers of the Federal Government. Anything else not explicitly stated in the Constitution are granted to the States.
In your example, root canals and appendectomies are allowed in all 50 states. On the flip side, medical marijuana is allowed in some states but not others.
Abortion is a good example. Nowhere in the constitution does it protect your right to have one. It should be up to the individual state to decide. Having said that, I support abortion rights and think the constitution should be amended to protect them.

No, because they generally use solid metrics.

I agree with your sentiment except that I think it's Progressivism that's failed rather than Liberalism.
Also, the US is a Democracy, not a theocracy.
Yet. The U.S. is not yet a theocracy. However, based on their actions, Republicans, and their Evangelical Judases, are working very had to change that.

And a future one when all else fails:
No change? Climate change.
LOL. You forgot to mention the part where the Earth is turned into a doughnut with dead tree sprinkles.
So we are exchanging one greenhouse gas for another (worse) one.
Carl Sagan was on the global cooling bandwagon as late as 1980. He thought deforestation could cause us to turn into Mars.
It could not possibly be that drastic change is needed. It MUST be a conspiracy if it inconveniences me!

Okay, okay. But I did say "closing in" meaning not yet :-)
Google is closing in on having the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act applied to them.
Your average minimum wage Joe cannot afford any of the new high-tech cars. Now what's the solution for them?

We need all new political parties. When that happens the media can START to clean itself up.
I'd settle for Democrats throwing Progressives to the curb and going back to being classical liberals.

Condescending, check. Tribal, check. Fascist, check. Leftist, yep.

can we get SJWs classified as bots.
