    You couldn't block the Politics when they rolled that out before the elections in '04 I believe.

    I think its some secret policy to not allow new sections to be filtered at first.

    I don't think you understand my point either. Microsoft (and their fan boys) don't really care. Sure they stole a bunch of ideas for FF but they have a pretty solid track record of doing that in all their markets.

    The point is that from the peanut gallery, nobody cares. Average Joe American doesn't care who came in second place.

    I've got two kids and another on the way, and I have to say, kids are the smartest people around. My son memorized word for word several books that I read to him. He could open up one of the books, to a page and recite what the two pages said and flip through it and do the same. But the catch is he was maybe 2 and a half and didn't even know how to read yet. I can't do that, and heck I'm the one who read the book all those times.

    Slashdot's ads drive me crazy. I usually forget how bad the state of internet ads are. Then I'll browse somewhere without adblock plus and it will totally drive me nuts.
