When you consider all the bugs that come through in higher level programming where everything is object oriented and human readable, it really comes as a surprise that you don't see more bugs in hardware considering the complexity of the problem and low level nature.
I have do disagree with you there. Probably the motivated smart youths go to 4 year schools and the less motivated youths go to community colleges.
The older folks are motivated but probably weren't so motivated when they were young.
So, I think my point is that young people have the capacity to learn faster, however motivation is a more determining factor in achievement than intelegence.
I used to work at a place with Macs and what I would do is get the fastest mac I could find and install Connectix Virtual PC and install Kazaa on Virtual PC. It worked like a charm. Virtual PC is kind of slow, but it doesn't seem to effect the download speed much.
OK ok. If they don't want to bother to provide a slashdot cache system. How about just linking straight to the google cache and save everyone some effort.
There's got to be an "If Microsoft Designed Hardware" joke out there somewhere.
I stand corrected.
However, I stand by the fact that airport is intended for home use where the exploit isn't much of a risk anyway.
I agree I'd like to see some stats on "bugs" in hardware.
I think Motos problem is they're too busy making cell phones to worry about PPC.
Considering most Airports are at home.
Oh no the hackers are telnetting from inside the house!
Besides if you're using a switch instead of a stupid hub they can't sniff you anyway.

Yeah, like extra medium too.
Redundant? That was unfair.
will be out soon. Watch out.

I miss the quickies.
They should have put these two stories together as one. Either that or spread them out farther.
that there are only 10 comments. aparently nobody cares.
How many slashdotters use macs? of those how many use OS X? of those how many have cd burners? Of those how many have incompatable ones?
I'm sure I've seen this before. So, I'm sure someone's posted the same before me. The redundancy comes full circle now.
70% of all statistics are wrong anyway right?

When the phone fits in your ear like a hearing aid.
But I'm talking about for the user.
Obviously Macintoshes and Windows are too easy to use , thats why we use *nix.
I'm pretty sure google has a million billion servers with bandwith out the wazoo.
you can fit a cell phone into a hearing aid.
