It's strange how SimCity, SimCoaster, SimSafari and the Sims all were priced normally, and yet SimPuter appears to be behind schedule and way overpriced.
Perhaps moving development offshore isn't the cost saver it's been promoted as.
Hi, Slashd0t, I have been receiving emails saying that I'm contributing to the "moral decay of society" by selling the Banned C D. You can track down old flames from college, or you can dig up some dirt on your boss to make sure you get that next promotion! Or maybe you want a fake diploma to so you can surf the net.....
With the increasing popularity of TabletPC devices perhaps dropping ebooks was short-sighted. Since TabletPC tries to mirror the paper and ink experience, you might conclude that e-books would be well suited to this format. Readability and battery life would still be issues.
Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do! We do!
Whow leaves Atlantis off the maps?
Whot keeps the Martians under wraps?
We do! We do!
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
We do! We do!
Who robs the cave fish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do! We do!
Or, if he is considered an enemy combatant, (which, since he unleashed worm "terror" might actually apply) he can be arrested and held for as long as desired! No law needed!

I agree. It is amazing that games from 1979 on the Atari VCS and Intellivision still hold up today, for the core reason that the gameplay is outstanding. Sure, the baseball player looks like a pile of bricks, but graphics mean little compared to gameplay.
Hey, I just realized I use a Model M. All I knew was that it is the best keyboard I've ever had. Built like a tank.
Mine was built 19-May-94, "By Lexmark for IBM"
We don't need no stinking computers! All of our equipment is 60's vintage with add-on computers. So when the ECM hits, they can just revert to manual operation.
I've often wondered why these businesses do not offer a lossless format download so that the CD you create from it would be the same audio quality as the one you'd buy in the store.
Sure, lots more bandwidth needed, but wouldn't that be a small additional expense?
I can't wait for the preloaded DJ Dell and the Interns single.

I see your point, but VeriSign's change hasn't taken effect here yet, so it's still useful.
Get the google toolbar and you can set the default mistyped-URL-search-page to Google's.

Let's hope you learned more about women with the low frequency vibration than with the bunsen and sulphuric acid.
Sounds a lot like the dot com bubble....

It's just sad that you looked that up.
Also, what is the point of this article. A guy puts his GPS, laptop and cards in a drill case?!?!?! Wow! That's amazing!
So does it boot to Linux yet?
Good thing they chose a non-technical name that would be easier to remember!

I think a webmaster just lost his job!
MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!
Good lord man, I clicked your link at 7:00AM!! I think my day (and possibly my life) is scarred!

ahhh... it's just too obvious!
Nice. I've rarely read a more concise definition of Canadian patriotism.
Unfortunately, he doesn't keep up with technology news
Maybe your relative (okay, admit it... it's you) isn't quite qualified to teach on a subject he knows little about?
Just a thought...
BitTorrent works pretty damn good!
Even with the load that the network must be under, I am getting 50kB/s down and 25kB/s up, which isn't too bad for my connection.
