I recently discovered that some of my friends (who are younger than me - about 20) Had literally no idea that there was such a thing as a mail client. For them, email *is* entirely web based.
For that matter, when did you last see anyone use Encarta?
Ok, there's the sort of app that seems pointless to force into being a webapp (photoshop springs to mind) but it doesn't take much imagination to see Office being a webapp.
It's a better plan over here in the UK, where we don't have to pay to receive calls. (why you lot put up with paying for incoming calls, I don't understand....)
I picked a porsche becuase It was the first car I ran into with similar numbers to the model T.
The 'average' car round here is something like a Ford Focus which gets 31/46.
There's some subtle little differences on a Mac keyboard. Yes, they're qwerty, but GP included non-alphanumeric stuff in his passwords, which are in different places. Took me ages to figure out how to type a # on my PowerBook, for instance.
Or instead, you can use this guy's script to apply the filters for you on IE. Include it once and all the PNGs on the page work properly. (Why MS couldn't do this themselves is really puzzling).
I seem to remember that reviews of this thing said it was good, but pricey, and had firmware locked to the ram config you bought it with, making upgrades expensive.... You can't just buy an empty one and fill it. (All IIRC though.)
A single chip system isn't going to need 5000 pins, as there'll be nothing else (internal) to connect to :)
The signal from the IceLink isn't digital to the stereo - it uses the line-level audio output from the iPod. (Clue: you can set the level in the menu)
They sell many small expensive items. Why shouldn't they have a security guard on the door?
Wow. Someone on here who has a genuine need for a tinfoil hat!

For crissakes, the whole point of the scroll pad is that it is a versatile input device- The scroll pad is all you need!
Then how do you do use touch-tone menus? Sounds awkward.

Try listening to music being played down a GSM phone. That's just bizarre.
(Before someone points it out: yes, I know the compression's optimised for voice.)
Let's just say that our government doesn't have the best track record with large IT projects. (Or, indeed, large projects.)
the fact that it looks hideously expensive and they're still only at the planning stage is a little scary.
it's the data straight from the camera's sensor.
Haven't you just described RAW? :)

A little googling places the Model T at 25 mpg (see http://www.climateark.org/articles/reader.asp?link id=23218).
y ing/ reckons can get 22mpg city and 34mpg on the motorway).
:)
This is slightly better than something like a porsche Carrera 2 (which http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/transportation/personal/bu
Now is the Porsche an average vehicle? Not round here it isn't
Actually, they're both ECMAScript :)

It's Broadcom that make the chipset used in Aiport cards.
You're a total dumbass, therefore you get promoted to management. Go easy on him. He was almost right!
Bleep is fantastic. Not only do they have sane formats with no DRM, but they let you listen to entire albums at reasonable quality before buying.
It's the way buying music online should work.
Verbing weirds language

And you'll be fine until you go on holiday... Or sit down at a Mac... Or a Laptop...
You could ask for the first letter of each word:

This is how I think up my passwords, starting with song lyrics I like and can therefore rememeber....

You have. That's exactly how the multicoloured ones work.
