The soft Aluminium that the PowerBooks are made of dents easily. If you drop one, they'll know about it. (My 12" has a really badly dented RHS where it fell off a sofa)
If you get a Mac Mini, you're realistically going to have to get a Mac keyboard, as they have buttons that PC keyboards don't have. (The Command key for starters, although this probably translates to something else on the PC board. Plus, the power switch on the Mini is on the back. Much nicer to have one of the apple keyboards with the power key.) As for the mouse: I can't remember the last time I saw a (reasonably new) PC without a USB mouse.
My PS/2 works fine... It was a bad joke, seeing how the parent mentioned the emotion engine. No-one seemd to get it though. Never mind eh? Cheers for the advice though!
The words are fine; you just have to fix the punctuation!
Broadband Reports mentions Neowin's sneak peek of Microsoft's upcoming anti-spyware software: recently acquired community favorite Giant spyware. Microsoft has code-named their re-hashed version of that software 'Atlanta.' It is currently in an internal beta test. There are screenshots of the application in action.
That's a really nice idea. Unfortunately, they currently sell three different sizes of dock to correspond with mini/normal/photo iPods, so it seems a little unlikely. I dare say they'd rather have nice smooth lines on their new system than a funny shaped slot that could hold any of the three.
Because the show takes place in a hospital, medical procedures are often depicted. However, these scenes are not graphic, giving the show a green light for violence.
Ok, censor a graphic operation for gore... But violence?? Why try and force eveything they don't what to see on TV into 3 categories?
Most of the places that host (or link to).torrent files sell advertising space. I've seen some surprising companies advertising on suprnova.org recently (eg Halifax)
Sadly, if you want ADSL, you don't have a choice. I really resent having to pay ~ £15 a month to BT for a phoneline I don't use, just so I can have ADSL.
Sounds like YMMV then. On my PowerBook G4 (a 1GHz 12"), mplayer uses ~40% CPU and never turns the fan on in situations when I wouldn't expect the fan to come on.
My G4 powerbook's got an eject button on the very top-right of the keyboard.
Ok, it's a software one, but the machine's mounted and happily ripped every copy-protected CD I own, including one that locked up an old G3 iMac.

IE has done more to harm the web than anything i can imagine
*ahem*

So that's why my PS/2 refuses to read discs any more!

I'd like to know why you consider the P4 to be the most innovative of the Pentium line since the original?
It's because its NetBurst architecture makes for a faster internet browsing experience!
*ducks*
Wanna bet?

How's it a non trivial problem? Throw junk with equal mass in opposite directions with equal speed. Forces cancel. Orbit unchanged.

What did 'downgrade' do to offend you?
