    A friend suggested me I could also have replied with a "Sory, me not understaind english". But I thought this reply would be more amusing for them.

    If you ran multiple VMWare virtual machines at the same time on the same machine, you might have difficulty with each machine having the same ports open (unless you had several network cards, at least one for each virtual machine).

    Wrong. Each virtual machine can have its own IP address, completely different from the host machine.

    I read some people here say there isn't such thing YET, but as a matter of fact, there WAS. Unfortunatelly, no more.

    In ye good ol' DOS times, there was DESQview/X, that allowed you to run Win 3.1 in a X-Window, and display it on any X-Server. It could also turn any 386 w/ DOS in a X-terminal.

    Pretty cool stuff, but probably little market share. You can see screenshots here. More info here. If you don't care for 95/2000/XP support, as it doesn't have it, you can download DESQview/X here (I didn't test it, though.

    Would use sftp in a SSH tunnel over IPv6 encapsulated in IPv4 over X-25. Don't forget to encrypt, obviosuly with an unknown russian algorithm, not only the files but also the instructions on how to download'em. If you have some spare time, instead of sftp you can develop your own [undocumented] protocol.

    This way you won't look like a wimp. Jaws will drop, you'll be recognized as a uber BOFH and your peers will respect you.

    I know some algorithms that makes trully unbreakable encryption. It's close to that compression algorithm that compresses anything to a single byte. It's fast, easy, and almost does not require processing. The only bottle neck is that then you can't unencrypt.
