Send all your data through the US email system then if you have a catastrophic loss you can just use a freedom of information request to get a copy of your data!

  2. Freedom of Expression on North Carolina Threatens To Shut Down Nutrition Blogger · · Score: 1

A high school student could see that he has the right to freely express himself and this law is blatantly unconstitutional. Which begs the question, "If secondary school students can see a law is clearly unconstitutional, what group of morons passed it into law?"

  4. Why does this remind me of World War II on Iranian Military Says It's Copying US Drone · · Score: 0

During the second world war airplanes flew over isolated pacific islands for the first time. One tribe that had never encountered technology built a bamboo and thatch airplane shaped idol of the God that flew over their island.

  5. There is no reason to assume searches are related. on Microsoft Patent Hints At Search Results Tailored To User's Mood, Intelligence · · Score: 1

There is no reason to assume that one search I do today is in any way related to any other search I have ever done. This is like the NSA's Total Information Awareness program. All it produced was constant false leads, they're still using it because information is like a drug, they're hooked. I have already tried Google's bad attempt at this and it just produces none sense results. Microsoft will just produce the Blue Screen of Confusion.

I'm so tired of Olympic rights and all the greed surrounding the Olympics it's time to start boycotting every company that sponsors the Olympics. From now on, if your company has Olympic rings on it's product I'll be passing on it.

  12. Honeywell Thermostats are lousy anyway on Nest Labs Calls Honeywell Lawsuit 'Worse Than Patent Troll' · · Score: 1

Honeywell certainly didn't do any research or even planning to come up with the products I tried. Unnecessary features, unwanted features and worse, inaccessible features. The first one I tried had a Change Filter warning come on after 3 months, so I changed the filter. The thermostat had no way to reset that function, even taking the battery out didn't do it Maybe there is a way but I didn't feel like spending the time to find it. It continued to say Change Filter till I ripped it out of the wall and replaced it with an old fashioned analog thermostat that works a lot better.

  15. They just don't get it on EA Defends Itself Against Thousands of Anti-Gay Letters · · Score: 1

No one is going to become gay or have a sex change because they saw it in a video game. That thought is just so stupid I can't believe they are saying it. I had my first gay thought at 5 years old, long before I heard anything about sexual orientation. I was left thinking there was something wrong with me and that I was the only one. That is hugely damaging to a child. Sexual orientation isn't absolute, it is a range. From 100% straight to having an appreciation for the same sex nude form. Then there are those that reach out and touch someone of the same sex. Those that are equally happy with either sex, bisexuals. People who prefer the same sex but don't want to give up the opposite and those that are fully gay. Showing children only one form of relationship confuses them because what they are feeling inside isn't being explained outside. You can change your religion but not your sexual orientation.

Sales will start falling off immediately after July 12th but they won't feel the hit until into the fall. I'll take a guess that it will take less than a year for the total collapse of the music industry due to sales falling to near zero. If they choke off file trading, people won't be able to find new music so they will stop buying.
