nah, whose line is definately improv
when you do improv for your entire life, it isn't as hard as it looks
it's all a matter of being mentally prepared
As someone with a little experience in the matter, I run IIS 5 on my computer here for my meager web page, *shamelessplus* Bead Game. All the scripting is done with ASP because it was the simplest method, at the time, to set up, (both perl and php are a pain to set-up with iis 4, which is what i was running beforehand). A little while ago, I was trying to make the switch over to linux, but that would mean reprogramming all of the scripts in my page, along with learning a new scripting language, and since i'm lazy, that wasn't an option. If i could have just plugged Chilli into apache and let'er run, then I'd be a linux user as we speak.
And on a another note, i tried using ChilliASP with a different web server for a while, but it's not fully functional, it does includes before and evaluation, so that pretty much forced me back to iis
The question isn't whether it is illegal to implement GLide on other chip sets. (That was the question with the glide wrapper). Rather Creative used the glide source that was given to them to build voodoo and voodoo 2 boards. Creative breached the license agreement and developed the unified driver.
I know there's more to life than games, and that's there more to 3d acceleration than win32 BUT as I said, most win32 games are D3d, and, the last time I checked, there's no such thing as Glide CAD. Plus, if you're wise you won't buy a 3d card aimed at games, but rather one aimed at CAD.
Beep, wrong. Most (win32 native) games are in Direct3d nowadays. How is it that you can't believe 3dfx is dictating how THEIR api is used. It's the same as a parking lot owner. People pay to use the lot, and it can be closed to customers whenever the owner pleases.
That's a pretty uninformed statement. the Voodoo 3 is almost on par with the tnt2, it's not as if 3dfx is being blown out of the water. Of course 3dfx wants to protect their proprietary api. It is, after all, their property.
The server is now dead, take it back!

Any DVD flick with a menu has some software in it.
Slashdot: News for Dope. Stuff that matters.
I'm quite interested in this, and I'm just a lowly hs student.
None of the planets orbit on the same plane, pluto's is just more uneven.
My name is Reid, I will soon be a linux user.
has that ever happened before?

problem als could have been avoided by tracking the licenses of software, and/or not ripping it off.
Because 2000 is better than NT, and is good for people who want a more serious OS and want to play games.
Isn't compuserve the largest isp now?
I think the proper term is GNU RMS
Starting console mouse services: (no mouse is configured) That's some seriously funny shit.
By you?
Why would you need a new screen and soundsystem? Are they really necessary just because it's in a digital format?
If this is a true aol keyboard, there must be no option to turn off the caps lock.
