A lot of cable companies will 'buy' your old dish equipment if you switch to digital cable. Call them and ask if they have any old dishes laying around, especially if your a cable customer.

In June, 51 people died when a train crashed into boulders in an area south of the financial capital, Bombay (Mumbai).

Do the boulders have GPS too?

At present, drivers sit on hard wooden seats in cabins where temperatures often soar to an unbearable 56C.

The rest rooms provided for them often have no electricity and they have no recreational facilities.

They will also get cushioned seats in the engine room as well as a walkie-talkie to keep in touch with the station officials.

But it seems like they could have addressed some of these issues incrementally.

And who is going to enforce this? Who going to pay for it? If consumers are required to recycle computers a large portion of them, sadly, will chunk them in dumpsters or empty lots. How many of you have made your computer purchase descision based on it being 'Green'

Instead of making it a 'tax' that the government handles, how about requiring all computers manufacturers recycle their own computers? That would give them incentive to make their components more recylable and the process more cost effective.

Not to mention backing up that data. Why does backup technology lag so far behind drive technology? 100+ CDR's to backup the typical Hard Drive in today's systems. 25 DVD's, but still WAY too much. A tape sytems to backup the typical hard dirve in a reasonable amount of time costs in the thousands.

I'd like to see Redundancy And Speed hit the consumer market more than the current volume. RAID 0+1 should be standard in at least mid level systems.

They know who is on every plane in each and every seat. There is now a Federal mandate due to 9/11 that if you don't get on the plane, your luggage doesn't get on the plane.

I can't think of anything I've ever done on an airplane(and I've traveled a Lot) that would bother me that it was being filmed except as the parent said maybe picked me nose. I'll just flick em towards the camera in the future:)
