The summer after my first year at college I went to a temp agency. I worked a couple of all time shit jobs for a few weeks each.

The first was at a place called Golden State Foods that was a major packaging and distributor for McDonalds. You know the little Chicken McNugget Sauces with the white trays? My job was to stand there for 8 hours a day with only a break for lunch and load those little white 5x5 trays onto the conveyor belt right before the sauce was splooged into them from Giant(1000 Gallons) vat of McNugget Sauce. If I missed one(or even a row) the sauce would squirt everywhere. This was a huge, dangerous Seussian machine that took an hour to clean up all the caked on sauce at the end of the day. While a worked there, someone lost a finger in the meat grinding plant, luckally I only lost my dignity.

The second half of that brutal summer was spent at the Maxell Plant packaging VHS tapes. This was the late 80's and there were tons and tons and tons and tons of them.

That would turn them into Hits instead of MegaHits. And with the develpment cycle and resources that went into each of those games, they Need to be Megahits for them to be profitable.

But it is not just EA chasing after proven material. Upcoming titles such as "Halo 2," "Half-Life 2," "Doom III" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" are all expected to top sales charts this year, in large part because the games that preceded them were so successful.

Sure this will get them noticed more, but if the games don't have innovative graphics and gameplay, the popularity of the previous titles is not going to mean shit.

Google wouldn't lower Any rates, they would add a new middle, registered rate. The purpose of this rate being to remove spam. If this registered rate charges by keyword, the spammers could not possibly keep up. They have some algorithm where they have possibly thousands of keywords on their pages that get spidered and they also link to other spam search pages. If each of these sites had to register these 1000's of keywords, it could not be profitable.
