    I know I'm not the only one with this bug, but Apple still hasn't responded to this problem. My software update *always* lists the "Aluminium Keyboard 1.0 Update" as being ready for install, no matter how many times I install the update. It's very annoying.

    a better question is how they'd know if I had paid for the music I purchased from sites like beatport.com or djdownload.com, which are 320kbit MP3 files with no labeling that distinguishes them from any other MP3 I have..

    Sure, I can carry around my purchase receipts, but.. fuck that.

    It seems to me that they make more money off Casual players since they require less server time and their subscription ends up bringing in the same dollars as hardcore users that are online 24/7.

    It's far more difficult for a virus to spread when applications require the user to enter a password in order to spread.

    OSX would however be safer if there was a way to have a built in firewall that required user verification in order to access ports.

    Everyone wants what no one else has.

    Having such things makes you feel special, as if part of an elite club.

    Honestly, I'd be a lot happier if more people used macs, that way there'd be more software.. but that's just me.

    Well I mean let's be a bit realistic, how often do you think someone will be given a 50% fine? That's extreme.

    Besides, it's far more fair than the current fine levels.

    If I get a $500 fine I'll feel it, if someone making 5mil gets the same fine, they laugh and say "I spend that much on dinner".

    It's not so much to hamper the lifestyle, but more to penalize.

    If I was making 5mil a year and took a 2.5mil hit due to a fine, I'd be pretty pissed off.

    Just because he might not set a new record, doesn't mean there wont be others like him who are faster and given an advantage by their prosthetic legs. The Olympics are supposed to be about athletes competing on a fair playing field. He should be competing in an entirely different category against others with comparable abilities.

    AppZapper takes care of a lot of the crap.

    Plus you can always troll around in the library directory.

    Though, I must say, it's very hard to get access to files that are installed with root privs..
