  1. Re:Hazy Case & Donation Fund on Scientology Critic Arrested After 6 Years · · Score: 1

You know, the Catholic church makes a lot more money than the church of Scientology..

a religion is a set of beliefs in a supernatural being and a set of rules on how to live your life..

Just because a judge says they're not a religion, doesn't mean they aren't.

  2. Re:Scientology isn't a Religion on Scientology Critic Arrested After 6 Years · · Score: 1

They don't need to require it, instead they guilt/brainwash you into making you think that the pastor doesn't make enough money, so the poor poor church needs your funds.. which then of course make their way to the Vatican, which has no government oversight and is in fact the largest financial institution in the world.

Scientology just gets picked on because it's not widely accepted. Other religions like Christianity are just as far off base.

GoDaddy's been doing this for a long time. They suspended one of my business domains based on a single complaint by some random guy, then charged me $200 to allow me to transfer the domain to another registrar. Extortion? Yeah. Against ICANNs rules? Yeah. Do they get away with it? Yeah.

Then again, i called mastercard and told them i didn't authorize that charge, so they didn't get that $200 from me.

They're also implementing practices that are pissing purchasing customers off like crazy.

I see at least 1 movie in theaters per week, often two.

I pay $11 to sit through 5 tv commercials followed by 6 trailer commercials as well as about 8 studio commercials. Then i sit through a commercial telling me that piracy is illegal and that i could go to jail. This delightful process then takes up 30 minutes of my life that i PAID FOR. This isn't entertainment, this is crap that I don't want and am pissed of by it.

To top it off ushers from the movie theater then walk up and down the isles during the movie with infra-red binoculars in order to seek out pirates with video cameras, which disturbs everyone in the theater.

But hey, it's the pirates fault that the movie industry is losing profits, right? It clearly has nothing to do with the absurd practices put forth by the MPAA.

That's cool then, I was reading about it and all I saw as being new in the game was a few updates.. good to know..

I made those comments based on the fact that (I own every blizzard game dating back to warcraft 1) their "expansions" are almost always the same thing: new levels and 2 new characters..

    warcraft2: the dark portal
    starcraft: brood wars
    diablo 2: Lord of Destruction

are all prime examples of this. I was under the impression that this WoW expansion was just that. Then again, a new world is quite a bit of work..
