    I'm afraid it will not. It just converts *.mp3 to *.ogg in the current directory and the quality drops a little. Besides it requires "sox" and "oggenc" utilities. Anyway, it's a very good example for someone who wants to learn shell scripting if nothing else ;)

    It is you or your earphones. Why don't you people *invest* in good earphones? For example, for $50 you can get a very high quality KOSS earphones and your music listening experience will be unbelievable enjoyable! You don't have to buy HIFI equipment which costs several hundreds of dollars - buy decent earphones!

    Did I mention Skully Records, New York City, USA? You know, I happen to live in Turku , Finland and English is not my native language. Our bands (there are many) have released many CDs over the years. What is your native language? Why don't you try to write a song in Swedish language and release it in Stockholm, Sweden? ..Haha! Well, whatever, your poor comments can't get me down. I do have a life even though I am a UNIX sysadmin. In fact, this very moment, I'm getting drunk and soon I'll go to downtown to meet some chicks and I'll always love my sunny funny girl.

    No, no, no, no, no pal.. I just rather hack my own, even if it doesn't look cool. Why buy something ready made? Where is the point in that? Where is the FUN in that? Besides if this becomes a trend and we are seeing more of these devices, you can bet your ass arcade copyright owners will start sueing people. Someone is actually making money out of their ancient ROMs - no company can tolerate that.

    Since day one. I got into drinking habit when I had my 16 birthday - now I drink and have a party every weekend just like everybody (="normal" people) else. It is possible to write killer code while being under the influence of alcohol, I've seen it done many many times. In fact, all of the greatest Amiga demos were coded by drunken coders at copyparties.

    WINDOWS IS DYING! We, Linux and *BSD users should stop this war and unite against commercial competitors such as microshit^H^H^H^Hsoft who spread FUD about our fine OSs. I've got 2 PC boxes and I use both FreeBSD (4.5) and Linux (Gentoo) and I love them both. Absolutely excellent OSs, both of them!

    I agree with you! CLI is the best thing! You can even watch movies on CLI by using MPlayer. There are 2 things, however, that are missing in CLI apps: 1) LYNX and Links are absolutely GREAT, but they should have the ability to display images and they should respond to mouseclicks. If I click on a link using my console mouse, Lynx and Links do nothing. 2) ASCII-text acrobat (*.pdf) reader! If we could get these, your CLI experience would be perfect.

    New debian is out, well, that's cool and all, but I got to admit, it is waaaaay cooler to listen to DOM ANDRA song by the best band in the whole world - Kent from Sweden! I am a finn, and I do not understand all of the lyrics of Dom Andra (although swedish is our second official language in finland), but I got to admit, this is THE BEST SONG I have ever heard! Thank you Sweden, I love you!
