    Anything I want to get rid of, I put in the /bin. Stuff I can't really categorise I put in /etc, and all the stuff I use goes in /usr.

    Agreed.

    We started using Mason here and have just not looked back. It has so many useful features built-in for site maintenance, and to top it all it allows me to embed Perl. We put all our application logic in Perl modules, then wrap the site around it using Mason.

    In fact I hereby propose a new meaning for LAMP:
    Linux
    Apache
    Mason
    Postgres

    GNU or Unix would seem to be the most appropriate

    bash has been around since 1989 (according to copywrite on man page). Linux 1.0 came around 5 years later.

    The editors should know better, unless they're intentionally trying to piss off RMS

    i always thought it strange that the Sun could be both anti-paedo, and yet have a *very* unhealthy obsession with emma watson (hermione in harry potter).

    its also no coincidence that the Sun and the News of the World are the most popular "papers" with convicted paedophiles because of the rather graphic details they like to print.

    the british tabloid press are full of shit. chris morris nailed it beautifully with his Paedageddon "Documentary".
