  3. The Blue Nowhere on A Good Summer Read? · · Score: 1

I really loved Jeffrey Deaver's book the blue nowhere. It is about hacking and aproaches it from many different angles. There are many references throughout the book which only true geeks would understand aka MUDs, RPGs, etc. It's a pretty fast read so I highly reccomend it.

  4. Spence Abraham on Former DoubleClick Exec Named Privacy Czar · · Score: 1

This reminds me of when George W. Bush appointed former Michigan Senator Spencer Abraham, who lost his seat in the senate, as Secretary of Energy, a cabinate position he voted to abolish the year before. Kinda ironic, aint it?

Nevermind that. From Isonews's forum: If you can still reach isonews.com from the old dns its only because your ISP has not updated its cache. Take note of the ip now if you still want to be able to reach isonews

  8. I really hope this isn't true on Is Comcast Intercepting Packets? · · Score: 1

While it is perfectly possible that this is false, if it is true it is one of the worst invasions of privacy i've seen yet, and there has been alot of them. As a Comcast user (victem?) I can say that there is nothing in there privacy policy about any packet sniffing at all. The last thing I want is to have a company with the terrible reliability that Comcast has to have posession of a complete lof of websites I visit. If this is true Comcast should be shut down or at least severely reprimanded
