    Hand out a CD when students want to connect. It should have a script that checks and makes sure the OS is fully updated and runs a virus checker.

    After it passes all the tests, it will let the machine connect to the network.

    Becuase it is UNSKILLIED. How hard is it to understand that spending years in college or training is different from walking onto a factory floor and picking up all you need to know in a couple of months.

    Yeah, imagine the arrogance of Doctors or Engineers who spend years training and in school. They just get all unreasonable when you tell them that they don't deserve a job as a Doctor or an Engineer!

    Yeah, this is only bad if you're starting out in the IT field.

    I predict a time in the future where American businesses will be importing IT guys from overseas because they were the only ones getting any training.

    Yeah, no kidding. I can't hardly wait until the Chinese start making lemonade. I can tell right now, since there's so many of them, it's going to be the best freakin lemonade in the world! No other lemonade company will stand a chance and they should just start bowing their Chinese masters.

    It's caled profit. And now that you can price computer hardware using a search engine, there's almost no profit left in selling computer hardware.

    Do you think people would pay a price premium to go to a computer store with knowlegeable staff? And then actually BUY their hardware instead of turning around and ordering it from home?

    Give me a break. If I pay you to take care of my toxic waste, why is it my responsibilty to see that you do it without killing yourself? You agreed to do it, it is your responsibilty to know what that entails. Danger and all.

    Well, I can think of a good reason why the US shoud protect it's food industry. If we start importing most of our food, then we become very VERY vunerable to other countries.

    It's just foolish. The whole country could collaspe because someone decided to sink all the food transport ships.
