and what are CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC, news orgs that are losing because people are tired of hearing their bullshit? There are biases on both sides, it just so happens that one channel has finally figured out that some of us don't want the latest and greatest speech/manifesto from Jackson, Sharpton, Carville, Gore, Clinton, and Rodham-Clinton. We would much rather hear Limbaugh, Will, and Bennett. To each his own, but quit bitching, Hanity and Colmes is a hell of a lot more balanced than Crossfire ever dreamed of being. There is nothing stoping me, with sufficent resources from opening a station that, as long as no one is slandered, libeled, or shows hardcore porn in the 3-6 timeslot, can say and do pretty much anything, if the advertisers see that there is an audience.
I'm pretty sure NS7 was a branch of the 1.1 final build (8/23/2002 is the build listed in the about NS7 window, 1.1 was released on 8/26/2002). NS7.1 should be cut from the 1.2 (now 1.2.1) branch (or maybe Netscape should catch up the version numbering, just jump to 7.2)
Would saliva be in violation, everyone remembers that slobber encrusted legos were impossible to pull apart without hot water and a better knife or, your teeth
But that's the thing, all of our admins are trained to work on systems where X isn't even installed (well most of it isn't, some packages (i. e. our backup software) require the X11 libs even though we do not use X. All non-essential ports are firewalled off (internal and external, I work for some paranoid bastards that offer ISP service).
The first day I was there the Sr sysadmin gave me SparcStation 5, a serial cable, the install media for Solaris 7, and the manuals, he told me when I got a login up to tell him. It booted, dropped to root login, he logged in, he did the ubitquitous 'rm -rf *' from / and said, bring me up a clone of another system in the office. Ask questions, but I will attempt to root this box for a week after you bring it up. I passed, thank god, but it really taught me how things were done around work. The only remote display we need is a console (Telnet, ssh, or serial), why does sun test on any more than that.
Support and over $10000 in training/testing costs to get a Sun Certified Network Admin (Fund of Unix -> Sysadmin I -> test 1 -> sysadmin 2 -> test 2 -> net admin -> test 3) is where sun makes the cash.
The kicker is, all of the tests have some really irrelevant shit involved with them, like using the CDE Audio CD player. My job is to run a bunch of headless 450's, for web, radius, mail, news, and DNS, why the piss would I have X installed, much less use it?
ADAM project, death row inmate was executed by leathal injection, then his corpse was frozen and sliced. It was a really cool educational CDROM from back in the day (93-95)
Kind of like that hybrid AthlonXP and Opteron 2P workstation posted on HardOCP(Micht have been amdmb) the other day. It could work, but it would require a 3GIO or Hypertransport link, it could not exist on the PCI bus without saturating.
Why would they want to do that, modern universities have one goal, making money. The bad students have to pay full tuition, or the US gov't covers them with loans. The truly gifted students can be given full ride scholarships, but the kicker is, the Uni maintains the patents on any good ideas a good or bad student develops, but the good students have a greater chance of devloping a patentable concept, so they are competed for, since a patent that generates $100,000 year can fund 2 or more students, with profit skimmed off of the top. So why would thaey want to boot students that might have the foundations for a money generating idea?
Why not launch a probe with an overide for cnn or one of the other tv networks sat signals (Falun Gong in China recently did this from earth, pissed of the gov't pretty well). After it transmits your warning, have it make a break for a planet/moon/astroid where it could crash until the US|Chinese|Russian space programs could get to it. Mars would be good for two years, Europa would take about 6 years, I think. Just make sure it has a fairly strong beacon that would survive the crash and wait for NASA to go get it and retransmit. The competition should get all three of the big space programs in a fight to get there first, ensuring that your message would at least be pursued, if not distrubuted, not sure how to pull that one off.
That would be a NS4 hack, anything but fixed positioning with div tags gets you in trouble when a browser resizes. However, the background should have followed your stylesheet, I havent done anything special to force my colors. There is a way to set the priority of your stylesheet, dig around on w3c.org to get it.
tables werent designed to do positioning. Check out my employer's web site. It sucessfully positions elements using CSS and is valid XHTML 1.0 transitional (note will be first thing tomorrow when I set the character encoding and remove that one stray border attribute, the boss wanted the mapquest block on the double.). Renders the same in NS 4.79, IE6, Moz1.0, and NS 7.0pr1 on windows 98. It would have strict complaince but how do I replace the "name" attribute for form elements?
HTML-Kit works like a top, and has a great plugin system. I haven't done much much c coding with it, but it does handle auto-indenting and colorization of C/C++ code on top of the popular web programing laguages (Perl, PHP, Java, *Script, and VB code).
But sony also makes cameras that use 3" CD-R/CD-RW. Now when they release a video camera that records to DVD(+/-)RW and has a USB2 or IEEE1394 interface, I'm buying
Frontpage Express and Frontpage have been different products for a long time, just like outlook and outlook express. FP Express was a basic WYSIWYG html editor like the one that ships with Netscape 3 gold and 4 that had a few predefined functions for IIS servers. FP is a full-featured editor similar to Allaire's Homesite (Substitute IIS webbot for ColdFusion templates) or HoTMetaL Pro (Are they still alive?). OE does have that nifty hotmail integration though which outlook lacks, so it gets used on my desktop.
Wal-mart has a long history of picking dying PC-Clone manufacturers to stock their retail stores. I remember Packard-Bell's and Acer's many moons ago (Windows 3.1-95), when those two shut down US operations, HP machines started being sold (Win98-XP). Now word is Compaq's desktop team will be the driving influence instead of HP, so the HP desktop is dead in spirit. I also seem to remember AST's somewhere in their but that could have been somewhere else.
In Soviet Russia, We Bone Them
Anybody else notice they're running Apache 1.3.26 versus 1.3.27.
1.5/1 for your updated sig should be close, you can always drink the .5 straight up.

Please tell me you aren't using the whole liter of soda, thats way too light of a mix for just a fifth, 1:1 is a bare minimum, I'd suggest 1.25:1.

Better than shopping out of a sharper image catalog though isn't it.
perhaps a .forward would be useful, just make sure you don't get false positives in their, grandma might get pissed when she gets that summons.

typically have their examples tared and gzipped, dig around on the publishers site, you'll probably find them there.

The reasons they advertise "No ID required" for Debit/Check cards is that most places want to see an id when you write a dead-tree check.

I thought there was a leak in source control, yep 3 months in 2000. All they found was a bunch of stuff from berkley though.

Or if they buy the lindows version it should just work. Now that I think about it, has anyone tried deer hunter on wine?
