    Isn't there any way to sue yourself for IP-infridgement? Not necassary on SCOs behalf, but you get the picture.

    Just get the case done, and out of here you know... I know it probably can't be done, but I'm just dreaming here.

    Only next, SCO might be suing me for ruining their frivilious lawsuit :)

    As we all know for one hundred percent, absolutely, totally, no doubt, never bound to fail, guaranteed(tm) certain, removing a word makes it all go away.

    So if we remove the word slave from the english language, all slavery will be abolished wherever english is the only present language. This is ofcourse a scientific fact, or I wouldn't be claiming it.

    So don't give me any trolls about how this isn't so. What I am wondering about you see, is Mr. Garrison's assistant, Mr. Slave now going to be removed from Southpark? (I'm not all up to date :)

    You all seem a it uptight about the DTV change. And that's all about the broadcast flag ofcourse. So you're bitching about all aspects of the DTV change to be certain you're bitching enough.

    So I'm all against broadcastflags just as much as you guys, but would you guys really be bitching about the end of analog transmission if the digital ones weren't being locked down?

    I kinda doubt that. So please focus on the real evil (*cough*broadcastflag*cough*), for the sake of debate, huh?

    Actually, Microsoft is including protection against the "print-screen-hole".

    Ok. Dunno where I read it, but it was quite recent (after they released all that Office 2003-info). You'll all have to trust me. Ok? :)

    So buying (i.e. paying for) DRM-crippled hardware is not supporting (giving your money to) the people/companies who is responsible for the devilshit in the first place?

    Yeah right. It probably doesn't matter.

    Put differently: Who wouldn't deliver tons of media/applications/shows/whatever for use (only) on the-latest-thing(tm) if no the-latest-thing(tm)-devices had been delivered or sold?

    This is just a wild hunch... Before 1.44 "mm" floppys, there were 720 kb floppys. I dunno (haven't checked, haven't bothered), but it might be that the 720 kb floppys are indeed 720 kb, and that they were a little bit incosistent when they introduced High-denisity discs with double the capacity... 1440 kb or as they say, 1.44 mb.

    You obviously haven't noticed how Plan-9 is a low-budget flick with immense amount of amatourism (and therefore charm :). Gigly is a hi-budget movie with "hot" celebreties, no story, no guts, no originality and no charm. It's one hundred percent standard and predictable. And when you got a multi-million budget, you should expect better (Ok that may not be true with todays HW-movies, but it still should :)

    I'd go for a good b-movie, than a bad a-movie any day.

    Yo. You are using a Compaq (big, big evil) machine.

    Compaq has a history of creating their own modified versions of hardware, so people can't buy standard 3rd-pary equipment when they want to get new gear for their machine. They have to get Compaq-stuff (which is supposed to be so much better...).

    As for drivers.... Jeez. You can't even get Windows-drivers for Compaq machines, without working your ass of. Oh, and you down download drivers. You download "SoftPaqs". And you never know if this is supportsoftware or actual drivers, btw. As a former support-employee, I had to deny people with Compaq machines service, simply because reinstalling a machine like that could take days.

    Its not Linux messing with your head. Its Compaq. As the other guy said: Get a Dell, man.

    Would the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Miles Davis and Pink Floyd (and alot more :) have made the music they did make, if they didn't "waste" their money on drugs?

    • The RIAA is the Recording Industry Association of America. It is not the Recording Industry and Artists Association of America.

    But that's probably obvious... (It was so blatantly obvious, lieing directly under my nose, that I for once couldn't think of it :)
