    Maybe so, but that would definitely be based on flawed logic. If Linux can be used as a bargaining tool, it is because it has the potential to be used as a replacement for Microsoft's products. If Linux was not a viable alternative, it wouldn't be a viable bargaining tool either. Microsoft would just say "Sure! Go ahead and use Linux, you'll be running back to us in a year when you realize that it doesn't work."

The court has the discretion to grant or deny the request for expungement. The denial of a request for expungement is a nonappealable order and shall not be reviewed by petition or writ.     See that last sentence? A judge can just tell you to go screw yourself if he so chooses anyway!

    One person suggested editing the default style. You can also go to your preferences and enable font replacing - whenever it comes across the nimbus font, it will automagically be replaced with your font of choice.

    The trick is to edit one line in one of the configuration files. I don't have the game with me, but I believe it is the following:
    ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1

    I believe that goes into your alphacentauri.ini file.

    They say 32 gigabit, not gigabyte. So if you divide 32 by 8, that makes for 4 gigabytes. At least, that's the way I understand bit-to-byte conversion.

    They mention it passively cools a 2.8ghz pentium 4. Would an AMD or a Centrino processor not be a better option? (granted of course the centrino-desktop mobos just came out, it wouldn't have been possible, but the AMD certainly would). Even an AMD64 laptop processor would do fine.

    How's this for an idea: use Opera as your main browser, and Firefox for your online banking? Internet Explorer was specifically denounced as being too insecure for online banking.

    The customer feedback was probably something along the lines of "50% of us customers take advantage of rebates." Best buy wants to make that number go down while maintaining the impression to the customer that he can still use his rebate.

    The point is not that the election was purposely rigged by Republicans. However, if Florida has 80,000 extra/wrong votes go to a candidate, that can feasibly change the outcome. And Florida wasn't as close as last time, but still was pretty close. It's simply unacceptable to have such massive, widespread problems in an election to determine the president of any country.

    Well, the Russians have been selling pirated CDs dirt cheap for at least 10 years now, probably longer. And they haven't been imported to the U.S. on a significant scale yet. Why would it be any different now? With iTunes out now, it lets people buy individual songs, further reducing the need for whole cds. Importing from Russia ain't gonna happen any time soon.
