Click on the "Just for You" seciton, it tells you why it's recommending certain music: "You bought X,We recommend Y"...
Their website explained to me exactly what it does... did you watch the videos? It's a RAW workflow, library and post-production application. It's not a photoshop competitor by any means, besides color correction. Pretty spanky if you ask me.
I just made widget that ran "rm -R ~/filename" and it deleted a file named "filename" in my home directory... where's the frickin' sandbox? change that to remove your whole home folder and advertise it as a porno widget you've got bad news. I'm disappointed in Apple's lack of security on this... where's the sandbox that people were talking about?
Bungie is one of those companies that I love and they deserve every penny they get from my purchase. They are passionate about what they do and have a great community. But what with the internets and all, it's bound to happen.
You can write an applescript or any other app to do malicious things, then paste a new icon on it and change the extension. It's been done before. There was a Simpsons one floating around Hotline a couple years ago that would delete files when you launched it.
But worst of all is the use of vice girls to torment the most religiously devout detainees. Prisoners who have never seen an "unveiled" woman before are forced to watch as the hookers touch their own naked bodies. One said an American girl had smeared menstrual blood across his face in an act of humiliation!
I've read an article in which a fighter pilot says he has to work harder riding the bike than flying the jet. Makes sense to me. In the sky you have 3 dimensions of travel to escape anything in your way. On a bike you have on 2 dimensions. Plus there's a lot less going on in the sky at most times than when riding (except for maybe a dog fight or SAM attack:) Anytime I ride I can't think about anything else other than riding. Cagers not paying attention, potholes, wet leaves, animals, and a myriad of other things always have my 100% attention.
I think this would be only a moderate help to motorcyclists, as I doubt only a smal percentage accidents have been caused by someone looking down at the speedo.
I'm currently having troubles getting legit emails through to AOL customers. From what I've read in their SPAM rules, if your domain has an open relay, they will block your email. So if you set this up on your domain, you might hurt yourself more than the spammers.
Really funny, I just got back in from seeing it... amazing. It looks like he uses a MacOS X rig for some things, as I saw a the QT Player/dock after a movie ended. He can improv and everythign with his setup. It looks like some of it is running off of air-power, had 5 bots there, and his crazy guitar/keyboard thang, looks complicated, I hear it takes him forever to set up.
He performed the "10 commandments" show, with a video playing on the wall and each robot was a character. It was mostly metal, but with some other music types like ska and rap thrown in. Very funny and entertaining, I'd definitely go see it again. He said his next show was a "work-out" one - so bring your shorts.
If your list of telephone numbers was cleansed of people who are definitely not going to buy your goods, isn't that going to make your business more effective?
