For x86 Ati and Nvidia have Linux drivers.
How about a RS6000 with a gtx3000 GPU?
(Or Sun & CGI)
Where can I find more info about production workstations running in environments with thousands of clients? (automotive engineering e.g.)
I just imagine I have an office server for all data (local and abroad).
So I walk to my thin client and use my smart card and the pin to login. If I want files from the other side of the world I enter another pin on my cardreader (like cyberjack pinbad usb well supported by linux http://www.reiner-sct.de ). Then I have an optimized protocol and a server especially for compressed office docs and send the data with 1kbit encryption.
Any strong demand for that?
Do you really mean some drivers or ironically almost all drivers (that I find in/lib/modules/2.4.20/)?
Or does that mean this list isn't complete?
It's just that my dmfe.o for my Ethernet controller: Davicom Semiconductor, Inc. Ethernet 100/10 MBit (rev 31) isn't on that list.
I don't know why I should be lucky this time:-/
Schugy
HBCI homebanking is intended to be safe.
As I enter that pin on that chipcard reader it should be safe. The 768bit key should be safe too. So what's the usual way to get my money?
Hack through the oppenent server and get acces for all accounts.
From that point there couldn't be any fault on my side. Of course the bank or attached service should be responsible for anything by law. Otherwise the bank shouldn't tell me that smartcards systems are secure and shouldn't make them a requierement for any of their services. Damn, I wonder if there was any transaction over the internet with such a law.:-)
Yesterday I zapped through the German TV-Channels and then I just decided to watch NBC Giga.
They wanted to show a game, tried to load it 3 times and only a black screen was there.
Of cource it wasn't blue:-)
Another game needed 4 Minutes to load!! But when the intro was successfully loaded it was time for commercials.
Just have fun with that xbox *lol*
So how stupid do I have to be to tell the people that the xbox is a must?

Well, I've read about apps as fake-WMs but I never figured out how to use it. Any hints? :-)
I use ICEWM by default
