Its not insane. Think of it as a 7-eleven. You go buy bread at a 7-eleven and you say, "Holy crap, its three times the price of the supermarket".
You *could* walk to the supermarket where there is more choice, its cheaper and probably fresher. But no, you pay the price for the lesser product because its right there and you can get it now.
If you are so deaf to quality music that you're prepared to listen to it on those crappy phones, with their crappier headphones, and PAY for the priviledge, then you deserve to pay stupid prices.
Trust me, they are all pretty bad, we are about to launch a music store for phones in australia and so i've tested a lot of them. Some of the phones' audio output is atrocious.
Actually our service is more suited to the mobile space, as we only have unsigned artists and it only costs $3 a month for the users.
Its going to be a great way to promote indie bands and groups.
I just set my comments threshold to three, its quite pleasant up here.
Of course, it has meant that not a single one of my comments have be eligible to be read with that filter:)
Like a 'hotel prefs' wireless usb key ring that worked across all the hotel chains, the room would read and write to it while I were there and but wouldn't store it.
Because studying the language is the important part, not some slow-mo spinning camera in a gas station.
By reading and studying the text, you gain an understanding of shakespeare's unique ability to create so much meaning (and ambiguity!) from so few words. You ponder his talent for creating real characters, who react realistically to the events around them and the actions they peform.
Shouldn't the government invest in a system that uses gps to give you a realtime indication of the speedlimit is? It could even give warning beeps when exceeding it.
If the speed limits are truly there to save lives, investing a fortune to make people paranoid about the limits doesn't seem the right way to go. Using technology to help them know what the limit is would be better.
Obviously your resumes aren't written
well enough.
A smartly written resume can get you a interview without ANY qualifications or experience. I got 4 interviews and got offerred all 4 jobs based on three things.
A KILLER resume.
A portfolio (show 2 or 3 programs, and you are miles ahead of everyone else)
A great interview (a whole different subject)
Notice the total lack of emphasis on qualifications? You do not need them to get a job.
btw, don't use internet job searches, look in the local paper for the really small ads from smaller companies, that way you can get interviews with the bosses not some HR drone.
It appears that the costs of true innovation have got to such a height that nvidia is now trapped in the same situation as Intel. It is too costly in time and money to create a radically different architecture so all they can do is fatten out the existing tech. This is why we see the "new" nvidia chip is merely a slightly ramped up gf3 with some extra instruction sets added... think MMX.
I predict that within 2-3 years the graphics chip releases will be the same as the cpu, example: the new "3.2 Ghz GeForce!". Lets just hope that Nvidia a competitor someone like Intel's AMD.
