I'm in the same boat as you. When my grandmother lived with my parents the last couple years of her life, it was really apparent how bad Alzheimer's really is. I really don't want to go through it, the last stage is a heart breaker. I'm really hoping that this research is correct.
I was told at one time that cable (when it was started) was supposed to not have commercials as you paid for it. I guess this seems to be the natural flow of things, unfortunately.
"What Goes Up Must Come Down 2007 Darwin Award Nominee Confirmed True by Darwin "What goes up must come down." (20 June 2007, South Carolina) A passing cabbie found a 21 year-old couple Znaked and injured in the road an hour before sunrise. The two people died at the nearest hospital without regaining consciousness. Authorities were at a loss to explain what had happened. There were no witnesses, no trace of clothing, and no wrecked cars or motorcycles. Investigators eventually found a clue high on the roof of a nearby building: two sets of neatly folded clothes. Safe sex takes on a whole new meaning when you are perched on the edge of a pyramid-shaped metal roof. "It appears as if [they] accidentally fell off the roof," Sgt. Florence McCants said. This is a true Darwin Award trifecta: TWO people die, WHILE in the act of procreation, due to an ASTONISHINGLY poor decision. Bottom line: If you put yourself in a precarious "position" at the edge of a pointy roof, you may well find yourself coming and going at the same time. Ironically, one of the deceased was named "Tumbleston.""
The two who died in this worked at a resturaunt that I go to at lease once a week and is walking distance from my work (Wild Wings). They have a small memorial with their pictures to the two up front by the front where the hostess stands. It's at 729 Lady Street.
"I agree that it is very important to work on creating artificial organs, but wouldn't it make more sense to start with blood? We seem to have a constant shortage of blood, and very few people donate on a regular basis.

"...they are using computers to simulate asymmetric warfare, they will never gain a decent grasp of what asymmetric warfare is, nor will they understand how to defeat it. "
Oh Great and Learned one, how would they get a decent grasp on what asymmetrical warfare? (/sarcasm off) Do you think that they sit behind a computer all day and play this sim?? This is merely a learning tool for them to use for *part* of their overall training.
Although the fact that someone was able to do this is frightening to say the least, hopefully since we were able to do it first will give us a chance to develop a treatment (if there is one) before anyone else would have the chance to use it. If one person (or group) can develop this strain of virus then another group can also, after all. To do other is the equivalent to burying one's head in the ground and hope that since we haven't developed it, no one else will either.
What happens is someone has a hacked card and then someone takes that card and makes copies for other people. Then, of course, you have one idiot out of the 20 or so people decide to plug in their satellite box to the phone line and everyone who has a copy of the origonal card gets screwed (i.e. spiked).
Anyone get that little comment regarding that game? I played way back when it came out, had fun only once (I caught a group of Panzers riding down a road while I was behind a group of trees and I nailed them from there).
Has anyone else heard of this game coming out for the XBox?
Uh, no. Tai Chi is a fighting style (IIRC it roughly translates into "Grand Old Fist"). My Si Gung teaches Wu Style Tai Chi as well as Hung Ga Kung Fu (Which I'm a student of) and Chi Kung (I have also a student of this). Tai Chi is very much a martial art, although it takes a while to really get into the martial aspect of it.

"then control robotic vehicles" . Aren't robots supposed to be autonomous?
Shakedown cruise?
I'm almost done setting up a hybrid configuration now :-(

I started working there in 93 at the CAE facility. In fact I worked there again in 2000 as well, although in a different capacity.
Someone needs to let the Doc know about those:

My last final is that morning.
Would you happen to have a link to what exactly this type of work entails?

Well, I guess stealing the planet's water isn't that much different than stealing the planet's Oxygen.

This would make one hell of a bass boat... Think of the size of the trolling motor you'd need.
Isn't the D model of the AH-64 with the longbow radar? If so, that's not the AH-64D.
