    Why not also put a small compiler from that text to working programs, just to put controversal programs in for m of readable text? I think such programs using natural languages do exist.

    For example: why not rewrite embed on this ?

    Embed then will be written on clear English language instructions, not harder than in cookbook...

    Or make a php script to access the pages which deny access to
    all pages without a cookie or a hidden field that is inserted on the first page.
    This simple move prevents deep linking without legal stuff.

    it's actually Prolog in different syntax.
    I love prolog and was really pleased to see its incarnation in XSLT.
    You have to change your style of thinking to write good programs on declarative languages, so it's why you are so in trouble while using XSLT.

    I am NOT satisfied with windows software I got.
    I got Ms Works and that's it.
    I have no MS Word or something and way too lazy to steal it.

    I would like to download or even buy that CD with
    good GNU/Free/BSD-like/X11-like software for windows (provided they're not stuck with vi and emacs as editors).

    BTW, my great problem with vi is when I am exiting
    insert mode (by pressing ESC) cursor shifts one position back. Is there any option/dialect of vi
    where when you exit insert mode it allow to leave cursor alone if it's not a end of file?
    It's really annoying.

    Spare CPU cycles is mostly a myth now.
    If you do not perform calculations on your processor, guess what? It goes to semi-sleep, conserving energy. If you load it with SETI - you'll pay for additional heat and energy...

    1) I am NOT watching TV at all (except in severe weather situations).
    2) If you don't use SETI that "floating point cycles" are
    not "not used" they are not exists, since computer go to energy-saving mode, doing no cycles at all.

    Actually no. You are wasting energy. If your processor was
    idling - it used much less power than when you are counting SETI@HOME. The difference is about $30/processor a year.

    1. ALIENS DO NOT EXIST! PERIOD.
    2. Keep environment green! Most current processors go to sleep mode (even if it's a simple HLT instruction - in Linux) and use much less energy. So leave processors alone . You'll help to save the nature!
