What software do you get with that $320 POS PC with its $10 "real" video card? Any OS included? Do you get an integrated suite like iLife? Do you get anything like the software that comes with a Mac Mini? Do you even know what's included with the Mini? What you and PC zealots like you don't seem to get is the awesome hardware/software combination provided with each Macintosh. You seem to think the price is just for the hardware-you people are so clueless.

You neocons need to start READING history instead of listening to rightie talking heads. Reagan is one of the worst presidents in our countries history and the rights ignorance of what actually happened during his tenure while trying to turn him into some kind of god is tantamount to insanity. But to answer your question, yes I think third-rate military dictators would laugh at America and burn our flag in comtempt if Reagan were president. They were doing it while he WAS president and his policies are part of the reason we are were we are today.

Nothing in OS/X relies on Safari and nothing breaks if Safari is missing. Now replace Safari with IE and OS/X with Win XP in the above statements and tell ME why Apple is like Microsoft.

Perhaps, Long-EZ, you'd like to rectify your post by including some evidence of comparable laptop hardware from a major PC manufacturer that is 30% less than Apples prices. I'm sure you don't want to be compared with Apple's marketing department.

Mac users (me in particular) don't admit we're paying a huge premium for the Mac brand name because, in fact, we're not. Anyone who believes a bottom of the line Dull is comparable to a Mac workstation deserves exactly what they get when buying said Dull. You're comparing Apples with oranges (or better yet, Apples with crap). Do yourself a favor and compare the G5 Mac with a high end Dull workstation, add in a OS to compare with OS/X (oops - there aren't any) and the other standard software packages (iTunes, iMovie, iDVD, etc., etc.). The price is not only comparable but generally the Mac is less expensive. Why can't PC bigots get over the fact that today's Macs are price completive with PC's?
