It seems to me that if these admins don't want unrestricted internet access in the workplace, then they are probably too lazy to setup security for their workstations to prevent viruses. It really isn't that difficult (or expensive) to setup some sort of firewall to prevent these kinds of problems.
Actually, PCWorld has been around for many years... I remember reading it back in the old 486 days (I'm not saying that it's good, I'm just saying that it's been around).
I just heard the sad news on BBC radio. Web entreprenuer/pioneer Porno Pete was found dead in his home this morning. Even if you never admired his work, you can appreciate what he did for the 'last frontier' of the internet. Reports are that he died from complications resulting from "No More Pr0n in China". Truly a internet icon. He will be missed:(
Why should we try to eliminate this great and wonderful thing from society? I can remember many a time when I didn't have anything to do, so I just whipped out some videos or streaming media. They will be missing out...
This problem is probably caused by the excessive amounts of pr0n that are being hosted on their servers. I mean, you didn't think that those big-ass satelite dishes were used to pick up radio signals did you??? I bet that they can pick up some massive pr0n with those things....
How do they expect people from different cultures to get along in such an environment? It will be many generations before such a trip can happen. Imagine all/. trollz being locked in a small town with Katz...
Hey, if freeDOS can be released under the GNU, then why can't more free pr0n? I say that we get Katz, and actually put his ability to make up facts and inflate normally short articles to use. He could write letters to pr0n providers to get them to provide free pr0n to/.! Who's with me???
Who gives a crap if RAMBUS is on the way back? All/. users know that even if the number of channels double, Bill Gates will just jack up the memory usage of Windows. Then everyone will just start bitching about it. Then Jon Katz will just post an article about something that has nothing to do with "News for Nerd". The cycle never ends.........
