the warlords in Somalia are the local government and they will not just keep surveillance on you 24/7 but also come into your house unannounced and take whatever they want.
just go Iceland. the local government is unlikely to spy you there and unlikely to harass you and in addition the local government(due to limited resources, small country etc) is unlikely to help nsa spy you too.
it's ALL about USA POLITICS, mostly immigration politics.
usa immagration policies ARE NOT TECH NEWS. and extremely boring for someone who has no interest in moving to USA. like, wtf, is this news for nerds or news for "I wanna move to USA from Calcutta" ? da fuq?
m1 and z1 are pretty nice looking cars. oh the new stuff?...
this watch is complicated for the sake of being complicated, that's stupid. its also pretty ugly. as a 5 dollar watch, ok, but 25k? wtf. 313 electrical contacts? what for? and the belts? why? could just as well be direct gear driven from the steppers. oh and the steppers are what makes it complicated for the sake of being complicated, not because there's steppers in there but because of that you know it could have been done with less than 14 point to point.
yeah I'm sure everyone runs 3x the servers and 3x the switches they need.
yeah. sure.
it's not just for fortune 500 datacenters. and plenty of fortune 500 companies have office or whatever serving centralized servers that don't have triple redundancy because it's not really practical.
plenty of places where that switch could have 10-20 devices behind it that weren't redundant on another switch. in fact if you just stopped to think of how practical world works, it's more than likely.
(furthermore, "the low paid lackey" would just install all the cables in the same places which would cause the same problem to come up instantly)
furthermore it's not enough time for anything to happen it anyways. add to that it spent minimal time in space anyways.
you would expect them to have lab tested it, but no. it's basically just an advertisement for (japanese iirc) whisky(furthered by claiming the earth base sample to have 'aarberg' taste. the space one is probably the more honest review.. 'fishy').
the mobile division is nothing to write home about really. they do tend to buy good parts for their phones but that's about it.
"Yes we will update this device to 4.0!" fast forward after the frigging beta release: "just kidding, we're not updating it!" effectively making xperia play only practically usable for emulators within the date it was still sold(cyanogen on it is a bit iffy when it comes to the phone functionality..).
well if you think losing removable battery for making the phone 2mm thinner(while it's already too thin to hold in optimal fashion) is a good idea then it's up to you.
most android models still have removable batteries by the way. that gives also easy access to sim, sd etc without having to carry a needle. it ALSO gives the ability to do custom backplates, which is useful for wallet type backplates if you want to have like that. note edge ships with two backplates, one with an integrated faux plastic cover and one without.
making the backplate non removable IS A BAD CHOICE. also making it OUT OF FUCKING GLASS IS A VERY BAD CHOICE! PUTTING THE ANTENNA UNINSULATED BECAUSE AN EXEC INSISTS ON IT IS TRIPLE STUPID.
plenty of stupid decisions have gone into the iphone.
now why would someone let guys who want to do that make their bootup system? it will have it's own kernel soon enough too and it's going to be forking time again for all the distros
they did not get the patents(though they have license to use them). they did not get the maps.
Microsoft bought Nokia FOR THEIR BRAND(available to ms for a limited time), FACTORIES and EMPLOYEES.
then they promptly proceeded to close the factories, fire the employees and bury their use of the brand. the reason why these apps are being canceled is two fold: first off nobody cares about them and secondly the folks who were developing and updating them got fired.
why did microsoft buy them then? I can only guess that Elop told them to buy them, which was a huge financial mistake even at the discounted cost elop managed to get by first ruining the company. also secondly they faced the possibility that nokia board would stop using windows phone, which would have buried windows phone totally. this was a real possibility. last years best selling nokia line of smartphones in Asia was android based.
and if you think that MS wouldn't be so fucking stupid to waste billions like that, I recommend you take a look at their mobile strategys history and how well that has worked out for them. they have had real idiots running that show for nearly 10 years now.
you use the lenses in vr displays to stretch the 16:9 to fill the fov.
like, this screen in a rift v1 would make it usable for almost anything.
but this screen on a friggin phone? fairly useless. the 1600 x 2560 pixels on the note4/edge is enough to not see the pixels on the huge display 20 cm away..
the start is boring and the rest makes little sense at all, especially the new place for the sheep being a tiny being in a laundromat. lucky for him that he is in the center of it as it's spinning pretty violently.
so what you're saying is that intel loses in every other metric except being faster? ok I might be able to see why people are sticking with x86 besides program compatibility.
besides, I certainly hope that you're not trying to suggest that octacore arm is faster than an intel octacore when all cores are running calculation...
arm loses on everything except watts, for certain things, and price. but even a chip for a cheap laptop would beat an arm chip priced for a laptop.
I got a quad core 2.7ghz phone(and it's not a cheap phone! I could buy a decent laptop for the price) and my aging intel 2.5ghz laptop still beats it night and day, on a common web bench the slower by mhz intel being 2-8 times better than the arm chip..
well, if you reasonable is paying your normal + 30 bucks when some countries have(non gov. subsidized too mind you ) unlimited 512kbit/s for 10 bucks/ month and 2 meg for 20.. wait a minute, comcast is a wired internet provider? I was talking about wireless because who the fuck has limits on wired connections???
wired connections with limits? what the fuck is that?!?!?!!??!?!?!!??! why do you think it's REASONABLE to pay extra for what you should already get?!? I mean in Finland you could get 100mbit/s cablemodem connection (where you have cable) for that 30 bucks easily. (150mbit/s in some places, and the mentioned wireless connections 'in the sticks')
the warlords in Somalia are the local government and they will not just keep surveillance on you 24/7 but also come into your house unannounced and take whatever they want.

20 bucks bt keyboard and 50 bucks cheapo android.
or a 40 bucks android tablet + keyboard.
or the 20 bucks dongle + 20 bucks keyboard.
the use case doesn't exactly need a full blown computer/os. really the next level is the 170 bucks laptop. he already knows the cheapest choice.
yeah I'm sure everyone runs 3x the servers and 3x the switches they need.
yeah. sure.

the map link sucks.
would be fine if it outlined the area and placement or something.
take a new android phone, create a new google account and boom you're opted in and logged in the browser too.
how the fuck is that opt out?
or wait... are you suggesting that logging in with a google account is logging in?
it's a vial supposedly.
one would assume sealed glass vial.
which would make the one's doing the experiment pretty keen on wasting money for some reason or another.
funny thing it probably would be in their interests to move it to something more akin to IRC with others hosting the servers for them.
twitter as they are can't seem to "scale up" to profits. they're making a loss on everyone and making it up in volume isn't working out.
further bonuses: censorship becoming not their problem.
furthermore it's not enough time for anything to happen it anyways. add to that it spent minimal time in space anyways.

gradle and some other stuff is basically like your suggestion.
specify repos, names and version(s)/ranges that you want and build.. in theory anyways.
a lot of it is buying packs of games on steam.
maybe there's one or two that you want to check out or play but you'll get 4-6 extra games thrown in.. like the xcom pack etc

you sure you didn't buy a fake sd card?
change the card, the sd support is pretty robust actually - and it's useful.
google just doesn't want to pay ms license fees so they're taking the whole thing out..
just a question.
do you already have skype and office 365? or have logged into either with the ms user you're using for windows?
sooner or later.
now why would someone let guys who want to do that make their bootup system? it will have it's own kernel soon enough too and it's going to be forking time again for all the distros

even a fairly large asteroid(global catastrophy scale) would leave earth more hospitable than mars or venus.
that's the point. turning earth into mars would be an apocalypse times 10.

the addition of sms into the article is bizarre. it almost sounds like a bizarre ios tie in to an article that has nothing to do with that.
oh well, years old flaw.. so yeah, that's what it is.

Imagine a situation where some of your sw doesn't run on win10.
the pushing of the upgrade is nothing but ridculous and they know it. every time after opening desktop (from sleep or power on) it pops up.
it says limited time but the time is 1 year.
it does not have a "don't show again checkbox". it's not meant as a free choice but as something normal users think they do not have a choice about.
