As others have already pointed out, the NES didn't use midi. Midi is a very specific thing, not just a general catchphrase for "digital music." Please try to have a basic grasp of the terminology before throwing words around that you don't understand.
So far it's only cost about $100,000, which is far cheaper than the $6,000,000 that was originally estimated. Maybe we'll get a little closer to that price once another arm is added, and some legs and a head and body...
"You'd go to your local corner shop and buy the daily paper, and you'd have these large holes where the ads were."
That's why you set it to collapse blocked elements. I don't have any holes in my Adblocked or PithHelmeted pages...I'd love for my 32 page newspaper to be the 13 or 14 (or less) pages of pure content...
Don't forget about the days of carbon copies for credit card receipts. Way back when, they used to make an imprint of your credit card onto several sheets of paper which had sheets of carbon paper between them. This was your receipt, which they had you sign. After the imprint/signature was done, they would then pull out the 2 or 3 carbon sheets and toss em in the trash (remember that this now has a full imprint of your card plus your signature). A good clerk would tear up the carbon paper in front of you (which quickly gets pretty messy) or offer you the carbon copies so you could destroy them yourself. But more often than not, they would just end up totally whole in the trashcan, which would then end up out in the dumpster out back. Thankfully it's almost all done electronically now, so you're not quite so reliant on the competence of the clerk...
As others have already pointed out, your argument doesn't hold a whole lot of water. Bear in mind that Mac users out there right now (and for the past 20 years) have chosen the platform because they like and prefer how things are done on it over other platforms (notably Windows). Interface consistency, usability, and the general feel for how it all works are part of this. If someone comes along and tells them to "just use the Windows version," Mac users will tell them to get bent. Remember, they're a very picky and quite vocal bunch...
Did they try updating the graphics drivers or were they just using the standard XP bundled drivers? I know I've encountered similar issues after a fresh install. Admittedly, I was using an Nvidia card, but I would imagine you could encounter the same sorts of issues using an integrated Intel graphics chipset...
Ahh, but you googled (errrrr) the wrong word...It should be yagoohoogle, not yahoohoogle like you listed above. Also, the Twingine site does contain that string (under the blog link).
Problem is that SoundJam's playlist interface was nothing like iTunes. The playlist window in SJ essentially mimicked a (classic) Mac OS Finder window in list view. Any added folders were displayed there along with the expand/collapse arrow to the left of the name to view any songs contained within that folder/playlist. When Apple released iTunes, the big deal was the interface overhaul. It's entirely possible that this guy may have a chance...
Well, it could've been "SCO Includes OS Products In OS6 Product"
Aaccck! Zombie!!!

But we need people who are bright, can understand local politics and react intelligently to the nasty tactical issues urban combat involves.
We're not looking for that sort of thing in our top counter-terrorism posts in the government, so why should we be looking for that for the military?
And why is there no bathroom zone in their screenshot? They'd better have a toilet icon, or I'm not getting this...
They obviously learned how to spell it foe-neh-tih-klee from Ricky Ricardo...
Given how much smarter and less tolerant Americans are nowadays compared to 40s, 60s, 70s...
From what I know about the past, it seems to me that ignorance and intolerance are doing just fine in modern day America...
If it were a paper that contained decent articles/writing, then yes, I would.

I didn't know you could put stars in your name. I'm gonna put little stars all over my kid's birth certificate!
The story from yesterday had someone from Opera saying that it identifies itself as IE by default. It's possible that could be part of it...

How are they doing their math? Is this 100,000 units sold to resellers, or 100,000 movies sold to PSP owners?
CNN's videos were only available if you were a subscriber to the RealOne SuperUberMegaPass. Thank god they've finally ditched that...
So I'm free to clone the Arial typeface by developing my own font that represents it, but I can't just copy Microsoft's font.
As I've pointed out before, Arial already is a ripoff of another font (Helvetica)...
Next thing you know Disney will come along and start bastardizing classic stories...

Here's a couple of GIS'd SoundJam screenshots I dug up to clarify the point above.
Exhibit A
Exhibit B
None of the pics online seem to contain folders like I mentioned. You just gotta trust me that it did it...

Google + Yahoo = Twingine (formerly the much better sounding yagoohoogle)
Wrong: "should of"
Right: "should have"
Righter: "should've"
