Between my recipient and I, I sign the message with an s/mime certificate. There are a handful of people on the nerdy mailing lists to which I am subscribed that also sign their messages. On the occasion that I need to mail one of them directly, my message is encrypted. Usually though, the message is just to the list or to non-nerds I know IRL, so it's just signed for them.

It's just that Chinese law allows Apple to pollute and poison the countryside without needing to pay for the cleanup. Apple, like the gulf polluting BP, exploits lax local regulations to make a fat profit at the expense of the local environment. FYI: Soil oxidation and erosion generates 12-15 times more CO2 annually than the burning of all fossil fuels combined.
As a result, clearing fallow land in the name of corn based biofuels has increased CO2and increased world hunger and starvation. Ethanol is all about increasing the price of corn for midwestern US farms. If you believe anything else, you're deluding yourself.
