While it's not free, it's by far the widest platform support setup around, and while the full on Exchange Server emmulation is in the version that is in beta right now. I've had a number of calls to them discussing things, and here is the extra kicker that will make every Exec take an extra look -> Intergration with the Danger Hiptop. So now there is a competitor to the MS Exchange / Crackberry setup that runs on *nix in addition to everything else. Oh, and don't forget to toss in the anti-virus plugin from NAI.
While there are issues with what goes into LEAP, the one that I keep having is the need for Cisco's ACS or Funks RADIUS server. I can find better things to do with $4500 bucks, but oh well.
The key item that LEAP lets me do is change WEP keys on a continual basis. Every 15 minutes my WEP key changes, so faster than you can get enough packets together and crack it, the key has changed. I have yet to see any other implementation that takes this route to secure things.
I don't believe anyone here will stand up for static keys, or MAC level filtering. Some people don't need the idea of having to use a VPN at the office (aka Exec's). So my choices are limited. Thankfully we've been using nothing but Cisco Wireless stuff, so the investment isn't as high.
Just to prove a point, I have looked at both Amazon and CDNow's sites and neither one state that the disk won't play on a computer. So I can buy it online, but can't play it on my desktop.
BTW - Has anyone tried to play this on a console system? I can see it crashing a XBox just because of the underlying OS.

AMD: Takes an existing archetecture and extends it with an excellent talent pool of engineers that speak in 64 bit.
Intel: Buys its way out of a lawsuit for stealing 64bit microcode from the DEC Alpha, then buy's the Alpha from Compaq to discontinue it. Then create a brand new 64 bit chip using their own limited talent, while shoving the existing 64 bit platfrom into an early grave.
Does this make sence to anyone? Alpha's rock, and they have been 64 bit for years. There already was versions of Win2k, Linux and Unix in addition to major apps like SAP and Oracle tuned for the platform.
