But I really just don't like Gnome because it's been unstable for me. It's not my RAM either; I haven't been using the same computer for the last 10 years as I'm sure you haven't been either.

Unrelated to stability: When you want a full DE for Linux, you pretty much choose between KDE or Gnome. KDE is more polished and better looking, it's fast on any machine I've used it on, it's pretty darned stable, and there's a lot more innovation with it. If all Linux GUI apps were written within the KDE space, it would rock.

KDE attempts to become more then "just UNIX with a nice GUI." I've always liked it, and whether or not it feels like Windows is moot. Who cares. It works.

And your point about fitting two Game Cubes in the "volume" of the Xbox? Wtf?

If you have enough room for any TV, you have more then enough room for the Xbox. We're not talking about a 10 foot projector screen here - we're talking about a small box here. It's not that big.

You can go on and on about how you can't fit it in a *room* but there's no way to validate such a thing. You probably just hate Microsoft and so you're trying to say the entire system is shit because it's a couple inches bigger then the Game Cube.

ps. Not that it matters, but the Game Cube isn't nearly as powerful as a game system. You also can't mod it in order to upgrade the drive and install emulators, media players, and all sorts of cool stuff on it.

The XBox isn't that big, and you don't have to have room above it to open the CD slot. You can tuck it under something and still have access to it.

All these people say "Wow, it's big" and sure, it's slightly larger then some game systems have been in the past. But it's hardly bigger then the original Nintendo, it requires a lot less space above it then the Game Cube (not to mention any of the older systems like the Genesis, SNES, etc,) And it's only an inch wider then the PS2.

Saying "I don't have room for that" when you DO have the room for the game cube is just a load of crap.

It was made by Visio corporation. It was purchased by Microsoft in 2000, where they simply re-labeled it "Microsoft Visio 2000" and did nothing else to the product.

In 2003, they upgraded Visio with more detailed shapes and other visual enhancements, along with add-on tools you can use to auto-discover and map out your network into Visio diagrams for you. You can also export a Visio to a web page, with clickable objects and everything.

For instance, the whole "God created the Earth in seven days." Seven days could mean seven million years, or seven billion years. It's worded in a way that man can understand. Why do people reject Evolution, when it could have been God that kickstarted the whole thing?

I can't say that I believe these things anymore but if you can believe that there is an almighty being that created us, why can't you also believe that this being crafted the universe as we know it now, and all the wonders it contains that science as yet to scratch the surface on?
