"A neural network can be trained to learn your pattern of typing. Each successful login becomes a sample in its training set. That way it learns your natural variations and you don't have to perform perfectly each time or risk being rejected. Again no expensive biometric hardware required."

I dont know about that. unless it learns time of day with logon, I would be screwed.

In the morning im too groggy to type in my password quickly, usually resorting to a two finger hunt and peck routine that often somehow misses the right keys the first time anyway.

In the afternoon my rythm is much improved and quicker, with less mistakes.

I think there is too much variation like that for a neural net to train on that it would risk it overgeneralizing too much.

I have the luxary of not coding HTML for business, but for pleasure, and the people who view my sites are most likely going to be like minded and will have a high chance of using mozilla as well.

Then to those of you who have to code for business:
Screw Internet Exploder, Screw Nutscrape, Screw Mozilla. Code strictly to the standards. Any thing else is going to bite you in the arse 10 years down the line. Most browsers show some ability at following the standards. Also, standards change a lot less then what a browser renders. You code for MSIE 6 and then M$ decides to switch formats on you? Youre screwed. At least W3C doesnt change the standards too often. And if you need some fancy gizmo thats nonstandard but only one browser supports, then most likely you need to rethink your site design. Tastefully done, Tables and static images will please more people then a hyper-active flash super animation.

But does it really make financial sense to buy something for inter building work, and then have to buy even more stuff so that employees can work outside the building (ie trips).

Or do they envision this thing to replace desktop PC's with wireless screens and massive centralized servers? (and what would the cost benifit be? it costs $500 to buy a full desktop PC, vs $1k for the wireless display, and then $50k for a server)
