We are a large corporation 50,000+ employees and all our development of our software products are done under Linux and then ported to the various OS'es. Windows releases are months after the initial releases under Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and AIX
Luckily I decided to drop Windows completely with my new laptop rather than delve into more Microsoft nonsense.
Ubuntu 9.10 is working like a charm and do all the tasks I need to do better than on Windows. What is there not to love?
This reminds me of the same program KGB once operated, they just called it "Report anything unusual about everyone!" and it was a disaster then so why do these douchebags think this is a good idea now?
Here is what you need to do: (I also work for a similar corporation with the exact same policies, maybe the same one?)
1. Install Linux and get it connect to your corp network (I run Ubuntu 9.10)
2. Install a virtualization environment (My company has a deal with VMWare)
3. Create a virtual image with Windows which you use to develop on, giving you full admin rights.
It also avoids any impact of Windows bugs or BSOD's.
Science is not centric anything, you look at the evidence and if it do not support the claims made by the manufacturer, it's clearly bullshit.
Not that I had expected the result to be anything different than what it currently is. Just because something is used by a group of people for years does not mean it actually works. What remains to be done, is to find an empty patch in this new image and do the same for this "empty" patch. But I guess the equipment is not good enough for another level of depth.

That is why my laptop contains nothing of interest whatsoever. Any interesting data is kept on encrypted partitions on an 1Tb USB based disk, normally placed safely in the checked luggage.
They can take and keep my laptop all they want, I'll just hook up the real data disk to a new laptop and install Truecrypt and I'm good to go.
Yesterday in a Townhall meeting, you had some problems coming up with another 30 billion dollars in order to fund health care reforms. Please inform the NRA-clown who asked you the question that the 30 billion can easily be taken from the military budget seeing that the US already spends more money on the military than the rest of the world combined, reducing the budget with 20 billion from 500 billion to 470 billion would not be any problem whatsoever unless you think the socialistic program called the military is not able operate on only 470 billion dollars per year.
Canning useless systems like this laser show is a good start to reduce the budget with 30 billion!

I was going to look at the data for the city were I was born but it's north of 60 degrees so I'm shit out of luck.
