It created more unemployment among minorities, not less, because employers just lost a bunch of rights and got themselves a bunch of obligations and certain employees got a bunch of entitlements that these employers are supposed to provide. Should the employers fail in any way (even in an imaginary way) to provide those entitlements, they will be dragged to court.

Yes, Windows 7 search is completely broken. It only searches in commonly used locations by default. If I knew a file was in my Documents folder, I wouldn't have to search for it, now would I? Even then, it doesn't return complete results. Microsoft contraindicates indexing your entire drive, but how else am I to find hard-to-find files? Oh, and it doesn't update the index anyway. In short, it's a big pile of fail.

The reason I disagree with this is that the American people are lied to and propagandized to such a degree that they have no basis on which to make informed decisions about government. They are taken advantage of at every turn by self-interested politicians and media outlets. Where can they get good, honest information about what various government agencies are up to, and what policy outcomes are? TV ain't gonna tell 'em! Local news is just that, and the national stuff is high level overview, and mostly just what the government wants us to hear anyway. And the politicians are too concerned with funding their next campaign and getting elected to be bothered with any kind of honest assesment.
So people are left to their own devices. Some will go out of their way to find out what's going on (even then it can be tough). But many people are too busy with taking care of the kids and keeping a job to really understand what is going on and how to respond. And even if they do, how do they affect change? It's hard to get anything done in Washington without an army of lobbyists. It's hard for the average citizen to challenge the military/industrial complex, or Wall Street, or Big Oil. So you can blame the American people if you want. And I might agree with you if we had a real, functioning republic with real, adversarial media. But we don't.
Breadcrumbs sucks. If you searched for an item and double-clicked on what you found, the preceeding breadcrumb is the search results, not the proper file path. It is a goddamn hassle to figure out how to go one folder up when the proper file path is not given in the bar...

There is an underlying idea in the US (IDK about other countries) that is something is not profitable it's not worth doing, or that everything can be done for profit. It is destructive because it keeps the focus on individual gain rather than common good. I know about the tragedy of the commons, but the very idea of a "commons" is becoming quaint in American society.

Most traffic problems, accidents, and fatalities could be resolved if the state were serious about getting unskilled drivers off the road. They preach about how driving is a privilege and not a right, but they treat it like a sacrosanct human right. If you removed the licenses of all of the morons who: tailgate, treat the double-yellow median as a guide for the left tires, drive 10mph or more under the speed limit during good conditions with no obstacles, obstruct the passing lane, come to a near-stop in the middle of the road only because they don't know what a long turning lane is for, and try merging into highway-speed traffic at a slow speed because they don't know what an acceleration lane is for, almost all of these safety issues would go away. You could have higher speed limits and fewer traffic lights, possibly even replace most stop signs with yield signs, and everyone still on the road would be better off for it.
Hear hear. I often wonder whether other drivers don't know or don't care about how to drive properly. 4-way stops and rotaries are my favorite. In Germany (my favorite place to drive) it is actually difficult to get a license, and the drivers are much more skilled than in the US. Over here they'll give anyone a license.

Actually, you do. If you let a car sit and do not drive it the seals, belts, bushings and fluids will deteriorate much more quickly than if it were driven. Your body is the same way. So drive that baby!
