Does it not bother anyone but me that this will give Google a monstrous research edge, as they will be able to determine trend data, as well as searches that have no results, meaning items that have not yet been researched or published. I find this extremely disturbing that a company can do that.
I don't think it is that cool in Google's opinon to become ubiquitous as a verb or noun meaning internet search. This will mean they lose the value in their trademark, like Kleenex.
Yes, you can "tell your users" but you can't force them to do anything. Maybe this works on a network of 20 people, try that on a network of any size and your results are garbage.

Why would it go on your ass? What purpose could it serve there? I see alot of these posts, but really, other than having "Windows" emblazoned on your ass or that paperclip riding its bike in and out of your A-hole, what is the point?
The reality here is that in '96-97 "pirating" as we know it today was not as stigmatized, so a student would be more apt to slip up and admit to it. With the attacks of the RIAA on everyone and schools removing T1 access to students who abuse the network by pirating, of COURSE students are going to "say no to pirating". How else could they continue to do it?

The numbers don't add up...nothing in this study indicates that BitTorrent is 35% of all internet traffic.
Sorry, I don't understand "Jump To Lightspeed"...Don't you mean Star Wars Galaxies Alpha release 2?
I don't think p2p is the "worst possible way". Underwater with a tin can and string is a pretty bad way to start a conversation.
No, it was the Times New Romans.
Their deal was cut at $.75 per song because they signed it long ago. It has dropped to around $.66 for some of the newer contracts.
Do not taunt the XM.
