TFS speaks, as if that would mean that the stuff just "vanishes". I bet that's also what the company's marketing department and payed doctors say.
While in fact, I'd bet money that it just goes to the blood stream and then to every part of the body, where it forms new complexes, and lets the patient die 15 years later, as soon as when nobody thinks of is as a reason anymore.
Works for so many other "solutions" it's not even funny, so this would not be an exception.
If you think about it, the media industry is a joke. I mean they are pretty much the only industry who never got the US to attack another nation for it, or at least let people in other countries die for at.
Or is it because they "sell" something that is on physical resource?
So I wonder, when the US will attack Antigua and nuke it out.:(
Well, I've seen the prototypes. Hardware-accelerated HD videos and Flash, nearly no heat with 1-2 W total, 10 hours uptime, $100-200. Said to be on the market this fall. I for one, will wait until winter, and then kick their asses if they don't deliver. ^^
Sorry, but Skype (as in communication), YouTube (as in entertainment) and porn videos (as in sexual needs) are definitely essential for studies done by a human.
I don't know where that sick idea comes from, that we theoretically could work without doing anything else for a whole day, and that if you don't do it, you are somehow doing something bad. I mean, what a stupid idea to even think that a human would be able to do any work at all without fulfilling much more important and deeper needs like sex, eating, social life and relaxation. It's like expecting a human to only breathe in, without ever breathing out. It's impossible. You will die from it. (Unless you got a freaking inhuman second hole and one-way valves in your lungs to pump it out again.) Or like expecting someone to work on making his dreams real, when he doesn't even have air, food, clothes or shelter.
If only par2(cmdline) wasn't designed like I piece of shit.
I won't take that thing seriously, until it at least allows the usage in a transparent fuse layer with cross-interleaved Reed-Solomon codes.
The only thing it is good for, is to annoy people who download torrents, by adding error correction, when BitTorrent specifically includes it. At least it does not force people to split 1.4GB video files into a thousand 50MB RARs, so that you have to have an extracted version to watch it and put in in your archive, and a splitted/compressed version to continue to share it. (I stop sharing crap like that right after extraction. I don't want to be responsible for annoying others too.)
I think real bleach works quite well with removing thoughts from your brain... just drill a hole and in it goes. Just don't expect any new thoughts to occur in that area... ever...;)
What you meant was "Symbian". There is no such thing as a working Windows Mobile Phone.;)
Seriously: Who came up with that "locked down phone" crap? Here in Germany, I have never seen such a thing, nor heard of it.
Most people here use Nokia, Samsung or SonyEricsson phones, and there are no restrictions about putting software on any of them. Especially Nokia offers you all you could need to put everything you want on that thing. It could have been better, but now... I mean the N900 got a root login, development kit and free development community right from the start.
I wonder why developers even bother to develop for the iPhone or Palm... it's like begging for the love of a woman, which only gives her permission to treat you like crap, because you come back to beg even harder, and it feels good to have someone think you're a god. And Windows Mobile basically is the other way around: She's the biggest whore on the planet, just to be loved. Unfortunately, this means she is likely to have nasty infections, and nobody wants her, even if she's open for everything.
P.S.: Yeah, even I am impressed by how far I could go with that analogy. ^^
Sorry, but I got the opposite experience. My brother bought a top-notch PowerMac. And as I am a Linux/Unix expert, I expected to be able to ssh in, and help him if needed. I specifically recommended him to buy a mac, since he's very PC unsavy, and i though OS X, with its strong insides and simple UI would be the best of both.
I was very disappointed. Because every time I tried to fix or configure something, I came up with great ideas and methods, only to notice that when I put my brain into "retard mode", and simply clicked where a caveman would have clicked (I ever added the appropriate noises), I always succeeded much quicker. Apparently I was too intelligent to use OS X. So I gave up. My brother on the other hand had no problems setting things up for himself.
Don't misunderstand me: For people who don't want to know the insides of their computers, Apple did the right thing. And as there are many of those out there, Macs are still a good thing. Just... it's sad that it fosters stupidity. (Of course not as badly as Windows.) They could have offered an OS for all levels of savvyness, and without the compromise. It's not that hard. I have done it myself.
(But hey, I found my OS: Gentoo. Deliberately made for those who want to become experts, and basically set their own LDFLAGS ^^.)
How is that a flamebait?? It's a freakin' FACT. And you (the moderator) just protected those mass-assaults!
Did the plainclothes cops already infiltrate/. and got mod points, or what? How can a healthy human being just mod something like that down? It's like looking away at torture happening.
If you actually knew anything about psychology, you would know that such a statement can only come from people with "psych issues" themselves, who projected their problems on those who they hate, because they are similar to the part of themselves that they also hate, because they got indoctrinated by psychically disturbed people (= religious ones), to hate what's only natural. And so are forced to hate themselves.
And as long as they don't learn to accept that this is a part of themselves, and that is is a good thing, they will never heal from the psychological injuries.
About the "doing non-work an work time": Humans are no machines! Despite it being a taboo and totally ignored, people *need* to do other stuff to stay effective. The more you take away their so-called "distractions" the less effective they will become. That is true for all healthy people. Which explains your "9-5 = doing less" example. The other extreme is caused by repression of the fact that they hate their job. In that case they more and more flee into something else. And the Internet offers billions possibilities there. So it is very important to find out if it is actually pathological, or only human nature (required to stay human). The easiest way, is to offer security, warmth and the normal things that humans want, and then take away all the distractions that the person could flee to. If they have a problem, that will cause them to fight it almost to rage, and then snap if not protected by that nourishing person. If you can stay with someone like that trough all of the hard time, then afterwards, he will be able to heal. But don't dare to not be very sure in your opinion about this being a problem, and having that person *also* *being very sure about it, and wanting to try it*, before actually doing it. (Something that can never ever be reached, if you so much as *think* about putting pressure on that person.) Or in other words: It is an *exception* for people to use the Internet like that because of "psych issues". So think and act wisely.
Sex is the main thing we sexually reproducing lifeforms are interested in. And porn gives us good feelings. Especially after a whole day of interesting but dust-dry science talk.
And if you're the US, you think you are the only one with a right to have them. And the only one with a right to demand not having them.:/
Fairness? When was there ever fairness on this word?
Have you seen the parts where Jason Jones went to Iran, to show the obvious behind our own giant propaganda machine: That the average Iranian is a person just like you an me.
I think the fact that Iranians, Americans, French, and everybody else, can come together in an online game, and form a team of friends... passing all the propaganda and crap... or even beat the crap out of each other without *anyone* getting hurt... shows that the Internet is the greatest invention humanity ever made.:)
I think the rule here is: If someone got nukes, and is complaining about someone else wanting or having them too, he's a douche. But because he is a douche, he will not stop doing so.
It's just sad when your own country is the one acting like that. Great role model for other countries! And in the end, you're the one who is hated for his government. You're also the first one who will die for it. Which interestingly is the exact thing that is also happening to the so-called "enemy".
A bit (over)simplified, wouldn't you say?
Best "funny" moderation ever. :)
I would an a non-laughing "very" in front of it.
Everyone knows that the FDA IS the medicine business. (Check the people leading there, and where they worked before.)

Also, all good binaries worth anything already compile under ARM with existing ARM-compatible OSes already! ;)

At 4220F? Rather "roasted to dust"(TM) pterodactyl "chicken" I'd say!

Then I don't have to manually deselect them from the crap folder in windows update. :D
And the payers as usually are the punished ones.

Flag the video as "Violent or repulsive content > Shocking or disgusting content"!
I did. If we are enough, perhaps they really take it down. Let's Slashdot it!
Disabling comments and ratings? Bah. Not with us!
I can't access hulu, as I'm in Germany, you insensitive clod. ;)
Or as Vista.
Then again, that is also true for a picture of Hitler.
Yeah right. As if someone had read TFA / watched TFV...

I agree, but I don't think in 1981, a decent shell was something less important, or less expected. :)
I think it's simpler to explain it this way:
They put lipstick on a pig. Which really is a turd in pig form. Problem is: It's still a turd.
(Or: Hype is not enough. You also have to have a good product.)
How is that a flamebait?? It's a freakin' FACT. And you (the moderator) just protected those mass-assaults!

Porn causes phych issues.

Really: News at 11. :)
The image was therefore made as man sees it, with a regular digital camera.
No it was made with a regular digital camera, because nobody gave you access to a telescope. :P
But at least you found a beautiful excuse. So still kudos for the hard work.
And if you're the US, you think you are the only one with a right to have them. And the only one with a right to demand not having them. :/
